Yep so this is his second year now. They were steady but drew a lot of games which is what cost them. Considering their budget to other Bundesliga 2 sides it was considered a failure. I'm not saying he is the one to blame in only one whole season but that is their current situation. Im sure they're go up this year.

If you guys would listen to him, you would learn something. La Magica started to catch on, so he gets a little bit of credit, just a little because he still believes that this ship can right itself which is very very funny.

I'm not sure how he thought it was ever really possible for Florenzi to stay? IMO, there is waaaay too much water under the bridge for Florenzi to stay here.

I'm very weary of a DS that hasn't worked in Italy before. My preference is a guy who knows the league, the players, and the tactics. I'd take Petrachi back in a heartbeat now that we have new owners.

I.get the system probably suits him better with PSG, however I also wonder how much of his poor play was down to him just not wanting to be here, and I don't really blame him.

IMO they put too much pressure on him by expecting him to take over from DDR, now he can go back to being one of 24 players with no expectations and enjoy his football again.

The same thing is happening with Pellegrini. He is good enough to be part of Roma’s squad but not good enough to make him the core of the project and give him the armband, to me that’s insane. People just won’t accept that not every Roman is a Totti or DDR and insist on setting themselves to disappointment.

Its not the system but the level PSG are above everyone else in the league. Before a ball was kicked I knew he would look good here. Its basically 90 mins of them having the ball so all he has to worry about is his build up and attacking position. He could have done ok in the wing back formation we use now as you dont just pick up defensive instinct in your mid 20s at the top level. You're competing against players who have trained in that position since they were boys. Some couldn't understand that simple fact. He will never be a good right back and Roma are not on the level to have total domination of play for 90 mins against all teams in the league. We can barely beat Udinese.

The next problem for him is he is on insane money for his level of play post injuries. Its best all round for him to play well and sign there, hopefully before they get tested in the champions league and his defensive play is questioned too much.

to follow on the post a few days later. v Man U.

Alessandro Florenzi - 5. Absolutely nothing offered going forward and didn’t exactly shut down his flank defensively either.

but hes so amazing against a 10 man peasant team.

I'm tired of educating people who'd support hacks likle Monchi, Petrachi, Fonseca, Pellegrini and the likes and shun the players who're decent enough to back up their skills with some damn running and sweating when going gets though and the tough have to get going.

We've been reaping the fruiots of a team without quality and leaders for the past 2 seasons, I'm sure this season would be amazing as well.

I don't have to disabuse you of anything - Cagliari, Sassuolo, Verona, Spezia, Spal and some random team from Azerbajan would do it for me.

DDR used to talk about his time with the national team feeling like a vacation for a reason.

When you bring people from the Sevillas and the Shaktars of the world, it is what you'll inevitably become.

Or you could go to the Juventus of the world with Paratici and be indebted to Aaron Ramsay
