Gotta hope for a big PSV lead or I seriously doubt we will see Richie. He and Otasowie always seem to be bench teasers.
Why would the manager take off Gotze when he was one of the best players in the first half? Didn’t make sense then, makes even less sense now.
for all the talk about how psv have this ultra talented crowded midfield the only one who looked worth a damn today was semi-washed mario gotze. ghastly stuff in the second half and not much better in what i saw of the first
Well, that's the story atm with most teams now. One match they look terrific, next match they suck. It's something I noticed since the start after the corona break, inconsitency to the hilt. Last week I thought, based on how Feyenoord played compared to PSV, Ajax and AZ, we were cruising towards the title. This weekend the tables turned again with Feyenoord playing terribly and Ajax and PSV performing. Atm it seems too much to be asked to perform well in succession, more so if it also means midweek plays. And it's not just in the Dutch leagues, it's everywhere.

I don't think anyone is saying they're super talented (outside of Ihattaran but something is up with him). There are just a lot of guys who are capable. As of now, Richie just looks like another guy at the club. I'm curious if they'll loan him out for the second half of the year. Playing at Jong PSV at this point doesn't do much for him.

This is kind of getting tedious... I feel like these dressing notifications with the Senior Team just get my hopes up and the coach really has no intention of playing him. I know I have to just be patient but it sure would be nice for him to get at least one look before the winter break.
Serious rep for the image. I used to use it all the time to describe my experience as a Charger Fan.... always finding the most painful ways to lose at the end of games. It makes sense in this context too. Love it.
Disappointing... but totally expected... basically par for the course. Unless he sees at least a few sub appearances before the winter break I think he should seek a loan this winter.
I think there are levels of disappointment. Ledezma not playing is the fundamental level, and not surprising, but when you see that PSV remained tied through 90' yet made only one sub the entire game, that disappointment becomes anger, and when you see that the coach's timid approach paid dividends this time - PSV won the game in stoppage time - then that seething anger boils over into rage. Faux anger and faux rage in my case, but I think everyone understands my point.
At the beginning of the the game, one of the announcers said that they only had 5 field players on the bench and they had played 1 game between them. I 5hought they said that they had 12 players who weren't available. Id guess he expected for each player to go 90 unless they put the game away early. They scored the game winner at the end of the 92nd minute with there only supposed to be 2 extra minutes. The freaky goal the opponents scored limited the chances for some of thise kids to get some minutes. I dont think it should have counted. Edit: to add video... goal at 1:05

PSV up 1-0 after a really, really weak penalty call that the ref somehow looked at on video and stuck with.
