Ronaldo put in overtime shifts and extra time minutes to drop Higuain's record in Italy and I say that not even knowing if he actually did.

Higuain was flawed as hell, but acting like the Borja Mayoral's and Chicharitos we graced the squad with the replace him were better players is quite honestly a terrible take.

Thankfully the 19 year old is more mature than the 33 year old.

I'm sure it's not that deep but he should know that's not what the team needs in this situation.

Even if your team mate is trash, encourage him. Look back at my posts here and see how frustrated I was whenever Iker conceded and his response was to either hang his head or shit on the defense. Come on man. Get it together.

The kid's determined to succeed here, it's clear to see. Being mature, forward-thinking and politically savvy will help him to achieve success over here, hopefully this won't impact him psychologically.

Even the 20 yr old has the brain of not taking certain things very seriously

Or he knows what to say in public and behind closed doors. Like a responsible grown up.

Instead of cringe instagram story posting.

So basically you are only here to discuss make believe scenarios which are a figment of your imagination and present them as "alternative facts", because you don't like what you can see and hear with your own eyes and ears.

I cannot understand speaking a Latin language in Europe and assuming others wouldn't understand, much less in a room filled with professionals known for living and working in multiple countries.

Someone here literally, unironically, said this was just "locker room talk."

This could quite easily turn into a “which one does the club keep and who goes” scenario. Especially if VJ’s entourage start knocking at Perez’s door.

Decisions will need to be made because what has been done is 100% unacceptable from any professional.

Glad VJ is mature about it

I think this pretty much confirms what we've known all along about Benzema, the dude has zero social skills or understanding of social consequences.

Thinks he can be a famous footballer, bang underage hookers, binge eat at fast food joints and blackmail/blacklist teammates and remain completely aloof to the rest of society blaming their opinions on lack of tolerance and understanding and of course the media for spreading "fake news" in an attempt to slander him.

I doubt this was just Benzema acting on his own. There is probably a whole conspiracy that Benzema is helping Zidane carry out.

Think about it, Hazard is a Zidane guy. We all know Zidane will complete destroy a player to protect one of his own, no matter how lazy and unfaithful his guy is. (See James v. Isco).

So now we have Vinicius outperforming Hazard early in the season and leading the team in scoring. Zidane has almost no options to bring Hazard back into the fold (especially considering he will likely be outperformed).

So now we have this campaign to destroy the boys confidence so thst his performances become so bad that constant Hazard back passes seem like a sensible compromise and a fair middle ground to resolve the situation and anytime someone brings him up in conversation we regurgitate his poor shot to goal ratio all while ignoring that he's much better than Hazard at what we bought Hazard for - to take players on 1 v. 1 on the LW.

I think it's unfair to make that comparison though. Higuain was always too good to be the backup and it was clear we could not keep 2 strikers of that caliber on the roster plus someone like Cristiano.

I loved Higuain for everything he brought to the club, but 8 goals in 7 CL seasons is what did him in I think. He just couldn't produce on the big stages; so I think it was absolutely the right decision for him to move on and us to bet on Benz.

He (the 9) moves onwards. I am surprised, but it seems like he's referencing the Spanish saying "let the dogs bark, it means we're on our way". Possibly a French saying as well?

Bad show from Benzema. Especially when you consider the ones who are saying it were somebody who has been protected through much, MUCH more horrible periods (********, Vini has more goals than Benzema even now) and a player who yes can defend very well (not that great last night though) but offensively is very lacking himself.

It's not a huge deal, but yeah a simple apology would have been more appropiate than him showcasing that the justified critics don't matter to him. But then he's right, because even at his worst, he was still protected and labeled the best striker by the only one that matters in team management. You would think he would have learned to do the same unto others.

the least Benz could do in a situation like this is treat Jr how he has been treated

I just want to know if Benz was playing against us when he was scoring single digit goals cumulatively for the season... SMH, have some self awareness and maybe treat the kid with same patience we extended to yourself for practically a decade.

what did you expect him to say? in a dressing room control by Benzema and Zidane, do you want him go out and tell the world what an idiot benz is?
of course he did the smart thing, but swallowing his pride, that doesn't mean his ego didn't get burned

You guys are crazy. This is a non-story and Vinicius understands that. They obviously spoke at the half.
I swear you guys have never played team sports. High stakes game and the senior attacker tells the winger to essentially give him the ball exclusively in good positions.
There are no factions and these things are normal.
I sweasr you guys are the most sensitive bunch

Let go of the hate. He's a club legend and instrumental part of a 4 time cl winning squad - a historic squad with historic goals and assist numbers. Enough buddy.

Yes. Go watch the Jordan documentary if you want to see bad, and even that is halfway tolerable.
There is literally nothing abnormal aout this conversation.

This is the problem with cameras in the locker room. This isn't even an issue

Well the problem is Benzemas now.

Funny because he's had problems with cell phones and cameras and locker rooms before.
