Sharing information, doctors, resources, etc. It’s what has worked in the past. Trump rolled back much of the teamwork that had been built up over decades so when the pandemic hit, we weren’t coordinating with anyone. Previously we would have had doctors on the ground in China assessing the situation so we could prepare. Instead we did nothing.

Anyway, closing the borders did effectively ******** all to stop covid from spreading like crazy, as evidenced by the past several months. The pandemic playbook that Obama left and Trump dismissed, as well as the entire ********ing pandemic team that Trump disassembled, probably, maybe, possible, could've resulted in less than 220k actual deaths and counting.
Not only did they ignore what the Obama administration had prepared, they ignored- and continue to ignore- the recommendations of the current qualified experts, as evidenced by his refusal to wear a mask most of the time, and his Nosferatu-like desire for the milling cheek to jowl crowds at his rallies. And his most serious "sin" is to politicize Covid, and a sensible response to it. Significant numbers of people believe this to be true, and act accordingly, as they believe it will disappear after the election.
I think they think it is far overblown, nothing worse than the flu, exaggerated by the Democrats to hurt Trump- and Trump does nothing to dispel that idea.
