son with a goal. https://streamja.com/vV1N1 i'm liking vinicius a lot. he's unselfish and has good vision while being a tank physically
The most clinical finisher in all of football atm, actually crazy. Showed his class the moment he was subbed in with that solo run. As long as there are no huge lapses in defense like vs WHU, this team has so much depth+potential it's nuts
he's clearly world-class now. i was hard on him for his overdribbling but his role in mourinho's system really lets him shine
its ridiculous how easy Son makes these goals look. He is beyond my expectations at this point. The game is going super slow for him now. 7 appearances 8 goals. INSANE. Is he messi? ronaldo? freaking insane stat line.
He just needs to back his performances up with a trophy. Spurs need consistency. Theyre like a pre klopp Liverpool side. Once they get consistency, they'll have a good chance to win some silverware. The squad is a bit better than what jose had to work with at united so fingers crossed.
Ya, Jose’s Man U in terms of talent is inferior to this Tottenham side. Younger Rashford and Martial put together isn’t as good as SHM. Kane right now is greater than a past his prime Zlatan and is more dimensional than Lukaku in there days at Manchester. Sergio Reguillion is far superior than an oft-injured Luke Shaw. The only position that jumps out where Man U side was better was at GK where “prime” De Gea would literally win so many points for Man U because of his ridiculous ability of keeping out goals.
More than anything, they need consistency in their CBs like what they had in Jan and Toby. Or King and Dawson
I agree with this. I don't think there's a huge drop-off from prime De Gea to Lloris though, he has been in superb form ever since the WC win. His quality for Spurs is evident when he got injured & there's a significant decrease in quality when Gazza has to sub in (Joe Hart still kicking though, first clean sheet this season even if in EL is nothing to scoff at) In the end, the worries lie in the defense, especially without a true CB (Dier/Sanchez/Alderweireld/now even Davies all slotting in) and terrible set-piece defense. Weird that this is a problem with a Mou team but I have faith in his adaptation & growth, especially seeing how he's seemed to have matured a ton from his previous PL stints. edit: meant to quote, whatever
This is definitely a huge sign of how good he is. I was talking to a Juventus fan about how Federico Chiesa reminds me a bit of Son in that he's very direct and always willing to run straight at defenders as soon as he gets the ball, and they replied "omg that would be amazing, imagine if Chiesa could become our version of Son!"
high praise 🗣 "He is a rockstar when he plays"Jose Mourinho feels Heung-min Son doesn't get the plaudits he deserves because he is a top professional pic.twitter.com/UGlV8pHTvC— Football Daily (@footballdaily) October 24, 2020
