Crystal Palace score a second goal. It came from buildup on Fulham's left side, but it is hard to pin any real blame on Robinson.

The Premier League is brutal. Robinson switched off for like, half a second there when Townsend had the ball out wide. Robinson drifted a yard too far towards the end line, and Townsend played a perfect throughball into the space he vacated.

Pretty goal from Palace regardless, but there will be a lesson from that sequence that will be drilled into Robinson all week.

9 times out of ten that extra yard doesn't result in anything. Not saying you are wrong... just saying that AR's positives on the day FAR outweighed the negatives. He was pretty darn good today IMO. At any rate... the EPL will certainly hone his skills.

That's why it's brutal. For that 1 out of 10 times.

I thought he looked very active and positive offensively. It seemed like his instruction was to get high but remain very wide, as he didn’t attack the post off the ball ever. But he made a lot happen. It may be just me but he didn’t seem as enthusiastic about tracking back. But when he did he was decent on the ball defending.

People are really down on Fulham and I get it, but Robinson and Lookman look like a really promising partnership down the left. The reality is that Fulham needs to drop its captain, Cairney. It's the massive elephant in the room. He doesn't offer enough offensively at the Premier League level to justify his massive defensive liability. But their overall defensive shape is much, much better than the last time they were out.

Ream is honestly playing much better than I thought he would. It's a long season and Fulham just needs to be fourth worst.

The captain did score the only goal late for them... but the announcers were bagging on him.... saying he needs to step up his game to the EPL level. At any rate... they are playing a lot better since AR and Lookman came in. But IMO, they are going to need Mitro to play/perform like he did in the Championship.... and they could certainly use a quality backup striker that they could put in there on the days where lobbing ball after ball into the box for Mitro is just not going to work.

LOL. Perception vs. Reality? I honestly don't remember Cairney creating the most chances... but his goal was fantastic in a losing effort. Kind of interesting as well that the top 3 chance-creators = 13 total chances = 1 goal.

AR needs to keep up his streak of positive games. He has put Bryan to the bench pretty early in the season... earlier than I expected. But if he loses concentration or his desire to make things happen he could lose his spot just as fast. I have to assume this has lit a fire under Bryan and the next time we see him he is going to be throwing out all he can. As a matter of fact... I thought Bryan played very well last year and despite a slow start in the EPL I am kind of surprised that we have not seen a lineup with him, AR and Lookman in it... maybe when the captain Cairney gets a rest the coach will try Bryan in the midfield between AR and Lookman.?.? At any rate.... cmon AR... give us another good game out there.

Most of his games touches can be found in Youtube. His game is nothing like Dest's. He is more direct player, classic British style of a fullback.

Fulham did have to try something with that defense and honestly despite not getting the results yet the team has looked MUCH better since ARob was inserted into the line up.. now admittedly thats not all cause of Antonee either.

Either way Fulham at least looks like they can start getting results now

jedi had to show some pretty nice hops to get a glancing headed touch on a pretty sweet cross floating very dangerously into the 6

Fulham with a very comfortable 2-0 win, and they're out of the relegation zone for now.

Robinson had a very good performance today.

Yeah I think this year was clearly about getting him into the top flight. Gotta remember as good as he was last season for Wigan. They weren't exactly competing for promotion even before the sanctions got them relegated.
