total helium prospect you love to see it. size isnt everything, but it sure does help things happen faster if you have the rest of the package
Let’s hope we see he trained again for the next few weeks, then makes the bench, then comes off the bench after the winter break (I don’t mind before). My expectations are quite low though considering how close Llanez looked to making an appearance and then never making one. When Llanez was training with the first team were there any others from their academy also with the first team?
I get the pessimistic approach, considering it’s Wolfsburg... but imo, kayo > llanez and uly’s inability to break through shouldn’t be part of this process.
Wolfsburg seems to prefer to loan their prospects before giving them a first team opportunity. Just seems to be their MO. Look for Kayo to maybe get a couple of cup appearances before heading on loan next year. Anything other than that would be a new developmental philosophy for the club.
The kid is promising, a bit of a tweener but his body will mature. I don't think he has any similarities to Mckennie.
What do you mean by tweener? What is he between? I mean playing positionally as an 8 is a great spot for a "tweener". Box-to-box, get back on defense to win the ball, but also move forward when the team is in attack. A great combination of a 10 and a 6. Obviously you could of meant something else...just curious.
and now officially a big wasserman guy Congrats @AaronsonBrenden on the move to @RedBullSalzburg 👊🏼! Excited to see what the future holds and to have helped another @MLS Homegrown player transfer to Europe. #TeamWass #USMNT 🇺🇸 https://t.co/0mJ4HAb5VK— Richard Motzkin (@RichardMotzkin) October 16, 2020
I mean he looks to be a bit light for his height. I'm sure he will fill up with a bit more muscle. I do like his game.

Not very impressed with his play in the game. Almost every thing he did was backwards. Kept possession but not even that much sideways and almost nothing going vertical. Of course does a great job keeping the ball while dribbling etc.

He reminds me of when Mckennie played for the U19. Strong physically, always looking for the forward pass.
He is really quite good with the ball at his feet. Going to be tough to break into the senior team at that position though with Arnold and Guila playing in the CM... and the coach doesn't give that many opportunities to young guys... especially that young. I hope that he continues his starting streak and perhaps he can get a loan in the near future.
wolfsburg playing right now & guilavogi just came off in the first half with an injury. do with this info what you please
He wasn't named to preliminary 48-man roster for the Olympics, despite being called into the January camp. Likely too young and too much competition. Plus unlikely Wolfsburg would have released him for qualifying.
