    Yup. There’s a reason he’s still out there.

    If Benzema is going to play majority of the games and almost all of the minutes in those games then any backup striker isn’t going to get any rhythm or consistency to get into form. So we need the kind of player who can give us a goal here and there with few minutes and reasonable wages. That’s wha it boils down to.

    So to fit that role Mariano and jovic are more than enough as long as we keep our expectations low from them.

    So 1 week left in the transfer window. Don’t think anything surprising will happen for us. But you gotta figure one of Mayoral, Mariano, and Jovic will be moved out. No way we keep all 3 right?

    Mayoral will probably leave to Serie A. Mariano is doing a Bale and Jovic might leave on a loan.

    Common sense. He's at the age where every additional year shaves off 2 mil. off that contract. He's not going to be excited about looking for a job at 34-35. He'll want a 3 year contract if not a 4 year one.

    I do also believe that he is looking for a last fat contract. But I don't know if anybody else will give him that due to covid-19. Atletico Madrid and Juventus already got their men. His option is very limited. Man Utd is reportedly looking at him right now. If I were them, I would allow the clock to run down. With 12 hours left on the window and no deal, he might change his mind. I expect him to sign whatever proposal he receives. They or someone else can possibly get him for a single year.

    He has not settled yet only 76 mins. so far - so not too many minutes in the two serie A 1(1) games just like Ødegaard. I think the 10 role is not ideal for him. He only played it 1 time vs Sweden about a year ++ ago, because he is not a forward like Zlatan who are playing in a similar position in Milan with his 2 goals before the Corona injury.

    But I really like Sandro Tonali overall talent and very strong key passes.

    If Real Madrid don’t complete a signing by October 5, it will be the first summer window since 1980 where they have not made a single transfer.

    2016 summer was similar other than technicality. We only signed Morata via buyback option that summer. Odegaard doesn't count as a signing since he was on loan. That's the only difference.

    Claims we have interest in Aouar, he talked with Zidane recently, but it would very complicated.

    He is out of contract in 2 years so how does this even work?

    If Roma like him, they will sign him on a free when his contract expires.

    Real Madrid extended the forward's contract, which was due to end in June 2021, at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu until June 2023 before signing a two-year deal with the Giallorossi.

    Lol so Leonardo is basically saying "We want to bend Lyom over next year when Aouar has one year remaining on his contract".

    Aulas is a true friend to the club; we should finally do a friend an actual favor.... one which would help us as well.
