Prob because he is a world class dribbler with lightening quick short game acceleration.... He's a s quick as Neymar, just not as frilly with his tricks. Mane, Salah and Jota were making the poor arsenal defenders dizzy today....
Mane was the best player on the pitch, but Salah actually won the game by largeley creating two of the three goals

What I really like most right now is how we have had a high class goal result from the intricacy of the front three in both of the last two games, and that lrapid fire link play was also in evidence v Leeds but we had some wayward shooting at the end there.
That kind of synchronity seemed a bit missing at the beginning of last season even though we were winning. It's back now as good as it has ever been

It wasn't. Didn't even look like it from any angle.... Nothing to even discuss or think about really....

In regular league play Gunners beat Fulham (20th spot) and WHU (11th with a win and two losses). They handled Leicester City's B team with their B team in the League Cup 2-0 with one goal at 90 mins and an own goal by Leicester. We'll see what they got on Thursday.

Does Robertson get an assist for Lacazette’s goal?

No, because Lacazette was in an offside position.

    :)

The normally pain in the ass Willian didn’t have a sniff yesterday. That was also impressive.

We will see whole sale changes on Thursday

Adrian, Neco, Matip, Gomez (maybe Rhys Williams), tsmikas, Milner, Jones, Minamino, Shaq, Origi, Jota.

maybe Elliot starts in place of one of the front 3.

Klopp has some options for Thurs depending on what he wants to do . I think we could see Thiago get some minutes if Jurgen feels he needs game time tho defo not a full game . Grujic could also play a role in the mf .

I forgot about Grujic :) yeah he should start also.

    I wouldn't risk Thiago though.

As long as he's over his injury I see no reason not to give him some kind of minutes Thursday , Sam. The guy has only played one half of football in the past month, he needs game . However I agree that his time should be managed so give him 30-45 mins v Arse and start him v Villa

Looks like a "top of the table" showdown will be looming at Bitter Lane for mid-October.

Van Dijk was something else last night. 114 passes completed from 125 attempts for a combined distance of more than 800 metres up the pitch.

Ya gotta wonder how these 30M professional athletes contract a virus that you can avoid getting by being careful. If I'm a football team, I write a clause into their contract that, if they get the virus, they don't get paid until they recover.

    Wow.avoid getting by being careful.

He had a well deserved break after the CL final - could have caught it there

Reported to training at Bayern - could have caught it there...Coman tested positive too and is just back in training.

Came to Liverpool - could have caught it in transit.

The incubation period from exposure to symptoms is 5 to 14 days but can also be extended based on the strain of Virus.

So I think we can just cut him some slack cause he's our player now and wish him a speedy full recovery.

Most reliable airlines have HEPA filters that cycle the in-cabin air every 2-4 minutes. Seating is regulated. If you're in a terminal, you wear a mask.

If you don't want to catch the virus you take precautions.

How did Coman catch the virus? Was he careful?

If Thiago caught the virus during the "well-deserved break", did he think that he was exempt from being careful?

What's your story? He's a professional athlete who is being paid an astronomical amount of money to be available to play a sport that is the most popular world-wide. Doesn't Thiago have the obligation to be healthy in the throes of a pandemic. I have no sympathy for athletes who catch the virus. It's simple. They're being reckless.

HEPA filters are the Answer ????...Dude I'm a Doctor...you obviously have no clue how easy it is to contract COVID inspite of doing everything right...They're out in the bloody open -training,traveling and playing a contact sport..Its very easy to arm chair within 4 walls and go on about people being reckless and he/she could have been more careful..It'll be a totally different ball game when your in the firing line and people with literally no exposure ( locked up indoors for months) have contracted the Virus..So last thing you need in the midst of a pandemic is saying athletes make so much Money so they need to be Careful..especially when they are one of our Own.You never know what someone is going through unless your in their shoes.

    I'm Done.
