Shocking that Santos and Acosta, even with Ricarte doesn't work as a good midfield.

Also Barrios should be benched for a game. He just hasn't been good and Pepi, Ferreira, Sealy, someone should get a chance.

    • Jara had a rough night. Might be some fatigue setting in. He was unable to hold the ball, and the missed sitter was bad. His "style" fails the eye test when he's having a bad game, he already looks disinterested, but man when it's not working it looks worse.
    • This center mid trio struggled. I think /Santos/Tessman/Ricarte might be what I'd roll out for a little while.
    • Mosquera's flat tire was probably a blessing. I think he could have rolled 4-5 starts out of that hat trick, and that would have been bad for us (I'm just not convinced the 'hat trick Santi' is the game in / game out Santi).
    • Nani posed a huge test for Rynolds all game, and he did excellent against him. I was highly impressed again with the youngster.
    • Reto had a MoM performance for me. Not just in the back line, but he effort moving into the progression forward was awesome.
    • The whole team looks tired. I didn't see the level of urgency I wanted after going a man up and I think some of that is definitely being worn out with fixture congestion.
    • Barrios was unlucky to have that one by the spot towards the end blocked. He needs a goal worse than anyone on the team to get some good karma swirling around in his head.

Still impressed with Santos but Acosta needs to sit. As does Santi. It's hard with the fixture congestion, I know. We have to rotate. But when we don't have our best 11 out, it really shows. Orlando are a good team (weird to type that) but we had our chances to bury them, especially a man up. Also, it goes without saying but needs to be said this time: THIS REF WAS TRASH. Holy crap, I haven't seen one that bad in ages. How can you get a yellow card for going for a 50-50 (non-jumped) header and accidentally colliding with your opponent? How does Matt Hedges get a yellow for a dude literally falling backwards into him? How do you blow the final whistle when we're in the middle of a shot in the box? F uck that guy to the moon and back.

I also still hate that Pareja is managing another MLS team, and yes that was true when he was in Denver too.

Pareja is managing another team, AND making them look like contenders.
