As an aside, I’d still ABSOLUTELY LOVE Almeyda with this squad and think he’d provide a Columbus Crew beyond our wildest dreams.
A lot of folks at my HS thought that way about our chem teacher.... I wonder how many of my HS teachers are still around now.... I'm sure all are retired. Same for most of my profs in college, I expect.
Prosecutors are announcing that all charges against Handjob Bob Kraft are being dropped. Of course. You get just as much justice as you can afford.
Kraft was seen on the sideline at last night's Revs match. He was chatting with Arena. So it's good to see him taking an interest in his other team. Regarding Kraft's case, the prosecution's case fell apart when it turned out the cops were recording innocent people in the nude and didn't have audio.
I often have this problem. The real problem is how to get the audio set up without intruding on the nude people’s rights.
I'm not entirely clear on who, exactly the innocent naked people are in a cheap, strip mall rub and tug joint. The people who are paying for blowjobs, or the people who are selling them? I suppose there could be some random people who wandered in by accident, but why did they decide to take their clothes off? Its all very confusing.
Bundesliga team Hoffenheim is about to sign a "cooperation agreement" with FC Food Lion https://www.kicker.de/1899-hoffenheim-kooperiert-mit-mls-klub-fc-cincinnati-785621/artikel Unfortunately the writer is mistaken that they are the "highpoint of soccer in Ohio" Edit: https://www.cincinnati.com/story/sp...-tsg-hoffenheim-german-bundesliga/3527140001/ Hoffenheim is one of the original "plastic" teams, now owned by a former player, Hopp, a software guy, who took his village side to the Bundesliga. In Germany, they call it "Hopp"enheim. It's close to Heidelberg, near the Sinsheim Technical Museum (worth a visit--and you can see the stadium from the museum) and the Hockenheim GP racetrack.
I do not understand this reference. I know that Leipzig is the Red Bull team, beyond that... I got nothing.
<shrug> Any infusion of money or different ways of doing things are often frowned upon by European football fans. They're terribly conservative...which is not in the least bit ironic, nosiree.
They're a "fake" club, totally controlled by Red Bull. Not sure they have many members, though I think they've been forced into that.
I do not understand this. How can they be fake? They have players and staff and fans and a stadium and history and a decent bit of success.
No history before Red Bull took over. Only about 10 years old. More info here. Mind you, this is the German fan's reaction https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RB_Leipzig
