This is completely silly and I'll be thrilled with either club, but I'm kinda hoping Dest ends up at Bayern just because I want Konrad de la Fuente to be the first American to play for Barcelona, especially since he's said that was a goal.

Would be a (small) bummer to bethisclose to being the first and then cock-blocked by Dest right before your debut.

Without looking up specifics, my impression is Bayern has recently gotten many good players at very good prices. They're frugal.

Sometimes when you wish upon a start things come true. We haven't seen these two play together since the U20WC

 

I didn't think they combined particularly well in the WC. I kept waiting for it, but my recollection was that Dest seemed to have trouble getting going with KDLF. But Konrad seems like he is a completely different player now. It would be incredible to watch unfold that is for sure.

Yes, you could see they had moves but they didn't combine as well as they should. Remember KDLF was only 17 and he got pulled in every game.

 

I think he’d had to go “capless” for 3 years and nothing has really changed in his situation for him to want to do that. He was a huge prospect then as well, with several clubs rumored to be after him.

 

I know Barca is a hot mess, but I feel he is more likely to play there
