I was always a fan of Under. I don’t understand the problem.

I did too but he never really seemed to progress after his first year. Dribble by people, cut in and shoot.. that was the extent of his game.

I do like Perez he seems to have a much better understanding of the game already.

It's looks like its a done deal, all they need is ink on the contracts. His agent is in Rome right now.

Its been obvious for a long time. Attitude. He was the man then got injured. Zaniolo comes in and becomes the star everyone was talking about. He loses his place and in between other injuries mops around with a sad face while coming back overweight. He got mins initially after he long injury layoff, sharing with Zaniolo but didnt perform well. He was probably carrying that same downer attitude in training and thats what gets you zero mins from the restart of the season. But I dont see that as unfixable with the right word in the ear as its normal for a young player to react poorly to losing his place. He has the talent level to not give up on him.

We could have sold him after his first year, when he exploded in the final 6 months and got 30-40 million for him. For 25 its really underwhelming but he has stalled for 2 years since and at the same time with no CL for 2 years there has to be sacrifices. The ball is in his court. Maybe the new move with switch him back on again or he will go the way of Ljajic.

    Selling Under is a mistake

I worry about that. If he doesn't want to come you have to be worried about his motivation

As far as I know there has been nothing concrete regarding his choice - it has all been assumptions that he has denied Roma, only wants Juve, etc.

I wouldn't exclude the possibility that a Juve journo is piping it, or that we saw something and fans have been running with the story and creating a hysteria over it.

Why would a Juve journalist be pushing that story? It’s painfully clear they don’t even want him.

That's just an example. Unless there is a video clip or something alike of him being explicit in only wanting Juve or not wanting Roma, then the rest is just here-say.

    That’s a lot for a bench warmer.

Three years from now we'll be selling Milik to Newcastle for pocket change and De Sciglio to China.

That's just what salaries are now. Off the top of my head here are what others are making; Pastore 4.5, Veretout 3, Perotti 3, Diawara 2.5, Fazio 2.5, Lopez 3. That's the salaries in the game today.

.. For the record I'd rather keep Karsdorp than pay De Sciglio but I think Karsdorp is done here.

That's why I think a lot of people don't give Dzeko any credit. He and Kolarov were horses. Even at their age they played nearly every game and that really means something, IMO.

    Seems like Under is gone.

Wish we at least tried him on the left wing before deciding to let him go. Seemed like he played there quite a bit in Turkey, and may have given him a bit more freedom than just cutting in and nailing someone in the stands.

It's going to be annoying when Under bangs in 20-25 goals for them this season. But just remember, it's the Prem. More space, worse defending.

Maybe he will but it's been 2 disappointing seasons for him. Many times a player needs a change of scenery

At a certain point if there’s smoke there’s fire. Every single transfer rumor is hearsay , but some are more credible than others, and when every single source has been reporting the exact same thing for months that’s a reason to be concerned.

Apparently Milik, his dad and his agent are meeting now to discuss it. My only issue is, if he's not really interested in coming here he's probably not going to be all that motivated so I'd just as soon pass
