    Great stuff Hazard.

Bench his ass indefinitely. We have capable alternatives.

Ah yes "rumours from Spanish media". Sounds incredibly reliable.

Why? What is the reasoning for this?

    What about the Champions league?
I want La Liga to be as similar with the rules to the Champions league. I don't want our team to have to specially adjust to CL settings.

But this shouldn't be a problem to Zidane who usually doesn't do subs.

    Yeah

I don't like it. Gives the stacked teams yet another advantage.

The other argument is that the drop off in quality for the big teams from the first XI to the subs bench could be big while the drop off in quality from the XI to the subs bench for less wealthy clubs is more negligible.

To be honest, it might benefit the smaller teams that rely on pressing or focusing on defense rather than skill and attacking. Five subs where you're only worried about replacing willing runners and fresh legs could be beneficial for them to steal points from the big teams.

Subs favoring big or smaller teams both have valid arguments.

We are the stacked teams. It's not like with 0 subs the Almeria and Granada will beat us.

There are data to suggest small teams having been using more subs than the big teams since the initiation of the sub rule. It also gives more opportunity for young players to get minutes and develop, thereby also giving small clubs a potential new avenue of showcasing players to make a profit. It also reduces the likelihood of injuries in a compact schedule.

I don’t think it is as simple as saying more subs means wealthier teams will necessarily be at an advantage. Smaller teams often have to work harder and cover more ground to compete against the big teams, thereby exhausting more energy. Having more subs can allow for fresher legs to defend, possibly making it more difficult for the big teams to break down their blocks.

Well said. I like the 5 sub rule. Gives the managers more tactical flexibility which makes their impact greater. Also gives squad players more opportunities which is a good thing. Sevilla or Villarreal who have good coaches will benefit. Lots of folks are just resistant to change.

This. My next wish is for them to stop the clock when the ball is out of play in order to kill all the unnecessary time wasting.

I just watched bit of his highlights videos - he's OK but doesn't really seem to be really impressive even at the Castilla level. Neither did Casemiro, so let's hope it's a case like Case.

Wilmar Barrios would be a great back up for Casemiro. Good no nonsense DM with decent passing

But I wouldnt want him here since I don't see Zidane rotating much

This is probably our best case scenario for cover for Casemiro this season, so I hope Blanco does impress Zidane and show his worth. Because we are unlikely to move in the market.

If ZZ loves this player won't that affect any plan that may have been on the table for Camavinga at some point, considering where they both play and both are young

Well I admit I`ve let me see on the official LALigaFantasy manager 5 Real Madrid players, of course, they will defend the LA Liga title.

    • Mendy
    • Ødegaard
    • Federico Valverde
    • Vinicious Jr.
    • Rodrygo
The truth is Benzema, Casemiro, & T. Kroos is too expensive on the manager so going youth.
