1) Referee: Anything less than perfection is not tolerated from fans, players, managers and the media. You are only one colossal error away from having a toilet named after you. 2) Managers: All managers get sacked or resign eventually. It's just a matter of delaying the inevitable. Only the rare geniuses get lifetime contracts i.e. SAF & Wenger. 3) Wingbacks: Especially in a 3-5-2 formation. You must be an excellent two-way player and run non-stop for 90 minutes. Must be the fittest man on the pitch. 4) Linesman: You only have a split second to decide whether a player is offsides or not. You must resist raising your flag unless you are absolutely certain. Also, your salary gets payed in coupons. 5) Backup goalkeepers: You must sit on the bench for the entire season while your teammates get into the games. You will probably feel left out and not get invited to team meetings.
put Goalkeeper instead of wingback and i agree with the rest. A goalkeeper is always blaimed for a goal and rarely rewarded for saves.
I don't often see keepers blamed for goals. Unless they fumble the ball, most fans seem to understand how difficult it is to stop some of the shots that end up in the net. My vote goes for the sweeper position, or for that matter, any center back. One bad clearance and you and only you are getting blamed for the goal.

No. They only resist raising the flag if they are absolutely certain that they are onside. Never do they let play go when they aren't certain.
I was a linesman in a tournament game once in which fans were allowed to stand up to about two yards from the field. I called in a goal that had crossed the plane but was kicked out before touching the net or ground (maybe I should have been the linesman in the Man U game!). For the rest of the match the fans wouldn't get off of my case, even fans tha were standing at midfield where they couldn't possibly have seen whether it was in or not...
