Rumored Man City are offering Messi a 5 year contract, with his last two years being spent at NYCFC. For some reason, I can't imagine Messi ever coming to MLS, but I also never thought there was a chance he'd leave Barca either.
I love the man but what was offered plus having Sands, Acevedo,and Haak at that position made him disposable. Now if we don't get a good striker or Winger with that money, I'll be pissed!
