I'm reading that the quarantine period for Manneh and McNamara will again keep them out of Tuesday's game. I am dreading seeing another listless performance from our RW

Not showing in central MA? I have Charter and they showing an interview with a basketball player - no game
Very gritty game. Good turn around from 1st 1/2 of 1st half and final result. Charlie Davies sounds like he may have taken some lessons from the Twellman School of Sports Commentary and he’s great, IMHO! Brad’s always cool, too!
I had a odd thing (here in New Haven area of Connecticut) Espn plus said the Spanish language coverage was blacked out but it allowed me to play the English broadcast (which is what I wanted anyway) I did a low tech picture and picture with my laptop streaming the Revs and the tv on the Bruins-Lighting . It was an alright performance game was a little choppy and sloppy especially having just watched the Europa and Champions league finals as comparison. Not sure I agree with either of the VAR decisions and even with the two VAR checks and water break etc. not sure I've ever seen 10 minutes of stoppage time. Our goals were both well taken and it was good to see them actually scoring more than one. Defense is still pretty solid. What can you say about Matt turner? I hope we can hold on to him for another couple seasons but Europe might come knocking sooner than later. While it doesn't help us with that he really needs to start getting caps. He's much better than Sean Johnson or Bill Hamid or whoever has been backing up Steffan lately IMO.
Revs rallied from a really flat start to take control of the game. I'd like to say that it was a real nice defensive performance, but it was marred by some inexplicable defensive errors: Farrell falling over his own feet near the start, Buttner's handball (this guy is a veteran of Man U, playing with his arms over his head in the area?), ... Turner's thievery after Farrell's blunder was an incredible, critical play. Nice work by Rowe, none better than his give-and-go with Bou. Ridiculous red-card rules rear their ugly head again - by the letter of the law, Caldwell went over the ball on his slide, but hardly made any contact, while cheap-shot Felipe makes full contact with Caldwell's shin and goes scott-free. Overall, pretty solid game, finally finding a way to get the ball in the net and getting 3 points on the road. Still, DCU stinks. Hamid's a good goalkeeper, but he was caught flat on Bou's goal. You'd think he'd know how quickly Bou can get off a quality shot. Kessler was pretty flawless - really nice performance [again] by the kid. And Polster was very good - less reckless than last outing; nice adjustment.
That game wasn't nearly as pretty as parts of the Philly game, but seeing Bou score a goal out of nothing was reassuring. DCU blew the marking on Bunbury, so I'm not sure that counts as improvement. He's a streaky dude, though, so maybe he catch fire. The happiest development had to be Kessler, who appears better every game. Pack your bags, Michael Mancienne, you are expensive, dead weight. I found I missed the Rowe/Polster chemistry in the middle third. I felt it was inevitable that Rowe would be drifting into the middle, and sure enough, it became a deja vu thing of clever combinations and mistakes from bad positioning and overreaching. Does Bruce mix things up just to mess with the game plans of the opposing coaches? Penilla is not an ACM - he looked lost. Caldwell added nothing, and can't complain about the red card. Ditto for Büttner's hand ball/PK, which was fairly obvious. (I loved Brad and CD saying "Wait a minute....you can't see it from this angle, so maybe he didn't do it!") I agree that Turner is going to get an offer sooner or later, and he is going to be sorely missed. Glad to see Jones and Buchanan getting on the field
I thought Turner was the clear choice for MOTM. There was a super high bar set for yellow cards in the first half by the ref, then a very low bar on the red. Part of it is that slo-mo makes any foul look worse. I still thought real time that it was a red on Caldwell (and yellow or red on Felipe) as it he went over the ball, studs up. Yeah, not much contact, but just the challenge over the ball, showing your studs can be enough to earn a red. BTW, <trivia nerd> the term is scot-free. It has nothing to do with Stevie Nicol, or his peeps (jimmies?), but refers to getting away with not paying taxes in Medieval English,</trivia nerd>
Good game. I did think it was a red on Caldwell live, and then seeing the replay with his cleats heading right to the upper thigh ... unfortunately, that sealed it for me. Buttner's handball was awful. What was he thinking there? Other than that ... the positives were prevalent. Great shot by Bou beating Hamid near post. Nice header by Rowe. Kessler seems to get stronger each game. Love Polster's attitude, he's a take-no-prisoners type player. Rowe was solid as well. Looking forward ... RBNY and Revs played last night. Both teams have scored 6 goals in 7 games, so safe to say, this one won't be high-scoring.
Speaking of central defenders, what's the story with Delamea? Not on the injury report, but hasn't made the gameday roster the last 2 games. Last night, they left a bench spot empty.
Crappy second half. I though for sure they were going to blow a two goal lead. Polster was a good pick up so far. I like his grit. Happy with a win. Have to say I am not a fan Davies as a commentator. I find him boring. He and Brad may be the worse combo we have had in a while.
I agree with the general consensus. Kessler, Turner, and Polster were my 3 stars. Bou was generally better today, but Penilla was terrible. Bunbury finished well, but short circuited so many possessions with his loose touch. Farrell came back from his early error to put in a good shift. Büttner, Bye, and Rowe were really mixed. Buksa really picked it up once DC took off a CB, he was taking up 2 CB the whole game. I liked Jones, but the other subs were mostly bad. What is it going to take to get Rennicks into a game?
I thought we were a little sloppy for most of the game. We telegraphed a lot of passes that didn't make it to their attended target. Agree with everybody about Turner, I think you can put Kessler in that same conversation. I'm not a fan of CP to start with and in the #10 roll, a big fat NO. I'm hoping McNamara can fill that role until Gil gets back. They moved Bou upfront like we have been saying here on this forum and he scores. Anytime BA needs some advice, he doesn't need to look any further than right here! I didn't think Scotty's foul was a red card. Polster must have been thinking that isn't even a foul in Scotland!
