Sadly if he’s made his mind up maybe it’s just time to let him go .. get a couple of hundred million , shop out all the krap and raise some cash then let Koemann start the rebuild over the coming months .. Apparently he can leave for FREE next summer ... that’s scary .
What are the chances Leo stays now since Bartomeu is gone? Although that does make Messi bigger than the club which is kind of scary.
There will be endless twists and turns just like 2017 & Neymar saga. What a disaster Bartomeu has caused, time to officially resign you incompetent prick.
If we're building for long term future, then selling Messi now would be the right time. Big $ for getting multiple quality players. I mean, without winning La liga or CL , he'd certainly walk away for free next season. That would be bigger blow for the club.
It looks like he’s going to pull a KD snake move and go to the richest and most loaded team in the world because he can’t win on his own anymore.
So much for that loyalty his fans liked to brag about. Man leaves the first season he doesn’t win anything. Retires whenever Argentina loses. I bet he would transfer to Spanish national team too if he could. And like you said, now chooses to go to the most stacked team in world football other than Bayern. What a joke How is man city any different to psg. I’m kind of excited to hear the mental gymnastics you will go through to justify this opinion
Hmmm, both oil clubs....both owners have no morals. Both try to buy trophies. yup they practically the same club. Come to think of it, at least psg has somewhat of a history before becoming an oil club
history in football terms doesn’t refer to what year they were founded. It refers to the clubs success in the past. City were a nobody club before oil money. Some of their transfers thought they were going to man utd because they didn’t even know man city existed You still haven’t explained how city is any different to psg. No more straw man fallacies, just answer the question
I mean...sure you proved me wrong technically, but him leaving after his second trophy less season doesn’t exactly prove his loyalty The fact he’s trying to force a free transfer rather than getting you guys a big transfer fee to help rebuild the team is pretty bad. Figo would be proud
That’s exactly how I see it . Chooses ManCity the wealthiest club around with arguably the strongest squad - then invites Naymar to join him .. Some challenge !! If he can persuade them to add Mbappe in the January window then Leo will never have to run again He will get compared to Maradona joining a struggling Napoli and look real bad
Man City Before UAE ... - 2 First Division titles - 5 FA Cups - 2 League Cups - 1 UEFA Cup Winners Cup PSG Before Qatar .... - 2 Ligue 1 Titles (shit league BTW) - 8 French Cups - 3 League Cups - 1 UEFA Cup Winners Cup Tell more about history ...
Inter sounds like It would be fun to see how they react if Messi is signed by Inter and then goes on to snap the run of Scudetto's by Juve next year.
Ronaldo went to a club with 6 or 7 consecutive Serie A titles that was making CL finals and SFs. Man City can't get past the QF of a CL and play in a competitive league ... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Then employs his sister to publicly reassure he is the best.
I wouldn't write off Inter's chance to get him by the way. I can't see him wanting to live in Manchester and the defending in the EPL is not conducive to a 33 year old's ankles. I really don't see him wanting to go to PSG and have to play in a substandard league week in and out. Milan is a great young city, Inter is building a good team and they have deep pockets right now. The only problem I can see is that they don't necessarily have the squad at present that will be a lock to challenge for the last few rounds of the Champs League like Man City and PSG. I haven't heard a lot of rumors flying about whom they are signing this offseason to really take the next step in competing with Juve. So if there is a reservation about Inter it would be that. I don't think he's staying. From what Koeman has said to the long-term players who are not in his plans, to the sheer debacle of the past few years from the board standpoint, I think he's said enough's enough.
