After this match I’m doubting we could attract any great players any more.

To be fair, both Barcelona and Madrid have goaded themselves and each other (and other big teams such as PSG and arguebly Juventus), to pay silly money for players, and players have been all too happy to take the money and sit down in the rear of the coach, expecting everything on a silver platter without working for it ... with the most trirumphant example probably being Bale.

    Is this Worse than Germany-Brazil?

Question is if Barcelona (specially with the board) would even be able to pick up one of the top names such as Pep, or if they all look at it, see a mess that they have no interest cleaning up, and staying put, to the point where they'd have to look at the lower shelves, possible of club icons with a lower sexy-rating ... Laudrup?

Anyways, I never expected this Bayern team to be so good. Hansi Flick is gonna make them second treble winners now wtf

High wages mean less clubs will be interested in buying our players.

No words. This is beyond repair. Full revamp is needed. The worst humiliation I can recall.
Setien should have some self respect and resign.
    Bartomeu needs to go.
A new coach needs to be brought in as soon as possible and start the rebuild.

If Bartomeu has any ounce of shame, he would resign.

"It's been too many years of sadness and shame, but tonight has only one name: humiliation. We no longer prolong the agony nor waste any more precious time. Bartomeu resigns, elections as soon as possible and together, we rebuild the Club and return the hope to Barça !!"

Coutinho was classy. I have no ill feelings towards him. He is a good guy. Just didn't fit.

I'm not sure he wouldn't have fit. He just didn't fit with Valverde.

Even with the humiliating CL exits this board had La Liga and CdR to "fall back" on to stay in power. This is different. At least this SHOULd be different if the socios have any shame. A lot in football comes down to good fortune and chance and is out of any single person's hands, but the way this board has spent money on bad bets is inexcusable.

Nah. Coutinho is on the bench at Bayern and on his way to Arsenal for a reason.

Even on the worst seasons with Gaspart, we never lost 8-2.

As I said, the board might be helping to destroy this club. 0-3 , 0-4 , 0-7, 2-8, they' keep trying to set a new record.

Thing is Bartomeu doesn’t have any shame. It’s obvious he wants to destroy the club before leaving.

Socios should file an FIR against Bartomeu for purposely endangering the club.

Messi should either leave us or let us rebuild (assuming he was the one vouching for these old slugs to get minutes). I don't want to see anyone except Messi, Puig, Fati, De Jong, and MAtS on this team next year. Honestly... If Messi is not down to rebuild, he can leave.

I said it last year, I am OK with Messi leaving if we get money for him. Any rebuild would have to be around him ... and honestly speaking, to build around a player that is playing as a 10 gets to be tougher and tougher as he ages and is not a good idea. We tried to fill patches to get that extra CL but it hasn't worked. Last year was the year. There is too much that needs to be changed now and I don't see it working if Messi stays. The rebuild will probably be a long process. There are no quick fixes at this point.

Agreed about no quick fixes. The fanbase should expect a 4-5 year period of mediocrity in Europe and possibly a dry spell domestically too.
