I'll believe that Bartomeu or the board are out when I see it. This board have presided over debacles in the past and emerged even more entrenched. Even worse, the number of absolute Barcelona legends that have made it clear that they don't want anything to do with the club while Bartomeu is in charge is large; and that hasn't changed anything either. If Puyol and Xavi saying that they want nothing to do with Barca while Barto is around isn't enough to change things, this won't be either.

For a long time Barcelona has suffered a degradation of the club, the management is terrible, bad decisions made, the result is there, now with an aggravating factor, messi must surely already be preparing his plane to leave Barcelona.

The only man who can save us is Pep with a new board. No more small minded coaches who’s basically hired just because their tactics are similar to our philosophy.

With the mess of the club today, I think it's impossible for Pep to come back, he doesn't come back with these people in charge.

Do you honestly believe this board is gonna last now lol. Even though elections are next year, they’ll be kicked out this year itself after this embarrassing match. Pep will return for sure. It will be greater task for him to rebuild this team

Key phrase was "with a new board".
But I'm not convinced that he wants to return even if Laporta were to win back the presidency. Not as coach, anyway.

I don't know, do you doubt anything from football? For so long, things have been wrong and they are still there, if it were only happening now, but it is not. I really hope you get out, get arrested for all this

It's more likely than not. There is no evidence to suggest that this will be enough to force them out, while there *is* evidence that it won't be.

Bruh there are socios who are already against Bartomeu who put banners and stuff. Maybe the rest of them could join and kick them out prior the elections

Putting on my mod hat, I'm dusting off the ol' banhammer and will use it. I see LPB trolls already claiming their Bavarian heritage. Stay in your cages, you animals.

There have been socis against Bartomeu for a long time. It hasn't changed a thing. Like I said earlier, if public statements from team legends like Puyi and Xavi and Pep and Lucho weren't enough, why do you think this would be?

I do, actually. But my wife doesn't drink, and pandemic means I won't be seeing my friends. Drinking alone right now could get really ugly really quickly.

There will also be the mindset that "just one more season and we'll have a new president."
It's also tough to obtain the required number of signatures for a moció to take place when fans are not going to matches.
2020-21 will just be a case of "hang tight, we're almost there", election-wise..

the average age of our starting lineup was 30 years old ( oldest we had in any match in CL history )

we had no players to punish them when they played a really advanced defense line because we had no fast players.

Should have changed many things after the Roma debacle.......

Should have changed many things after Liverpool choke job.......

Should change many things after Bayern slaughter......

unfortunately, I see one more season where at the end we will again say that we should have changed many things after......

I hear you. One saving grace, for me at least, is that the pandemic has really flattened my interest in soccer to an all-time low. Already pretty numb to all this silly soccer drama in the midst of real social problems.

Yeah, but that's the thing. I sure would like it if sports could provide some brief escape from those real social problems, you know? Now I'm down to Marble League.
