Thanks to my DVR I am able to skip through all the whatever is trending PC brainwashing and skip straight to the game. BTW I am biracial of Caribbean descent. The leagues brought this upon themselves years ago and deserve the backlash. Love watching games from LA Liga and Italy where the players have a moment of silence for the victims of Covid 19. No anthem, just respect for your family and friends that are dying from a worldwide pandemic.
Not on a consistent basis--- on a consistent basis i think it can be safely said that Euro soccer is exciting simply because they can afford to pay big and thus bring all the best talent from around the world. However, I will say that periodically there are years when the Libertadores final has been much more exciting and interesting to watch than the UEFA Champions League final.
I have to agree. THe problem with South American Soccer is that a team that is good is going to be raided after a season. So you don't have consistent good teams every year (this could be seen as something good too, you don't know who is going to win every year like in Europe which you know it is going to be between 5-6 teams always). THe atmosphere at the stadiums is definitely better in south america tough. (When people attend at the stadiums to be fair )
So many of Stuart's daily posts of these crests are reminders of the missed opportunities for MLS teams. I mean, did the Quakes and Charlotte and Saint Louis spend less than a third tier team in Nizhny Novgorod... or did Nizhny just have a more talented intern on hand?
That Salernitana crest is beautiful. Great job on whoever designed that one. Here's another one that i always liked....
That's precisely why I liked it--it always reminded of Kellog's Corn Flakes. But believe it or not that logo belonged to an actual team. And by the way, let me correct you sir---The name is Corn Flakes United City FC.
(Ed McMahon voice) You are correct sir!! it was a great logo! Funny yet cute at the same time--very family friendly and unforgettable. this is bari's latest crest:
