Everytime I see Luca, and it's a few hundred times by now, I can't help but think he looks more like Harry Potter than Harry Potter.

Even if he had a deal until June 2022, if the writing wasn't already on the wall then promotion certainly put it there. This season, he made only two league appearances, both garbage minutes, and didn't even make the bench a whopping 36 times, plus his EPL2/U-23 appearances were pretty scanty. Most of his time was spent with the U-21s. Promotion means that even most of this season's rotators are going to have to be moved on and if they can't, they're going to be vying for EPL2 and Carabao Cup PT.

Basically, it was leave or spend the season training with the EPL2 squad and playing for the U-21s while his contract ran down and he left other Championship clubs' radars.Heracles aren't Ajax, but an upper mid-table Eredivisie side that occasionally qualifies for EL play is a way better shop window for him than that.

Like @TxEx said, this is a pretty good move with some rebound potential.

I think this is a great move for LDLT. Heracles is managed by former Germany U20 coach Frank Wormouth who for 10 years churned our some pretty good talent for the Germans. Since he’s taken over there’s been a fairly large contingent of Germans in their squad but taking a peek at their roster it looks like many weren’t retained for next season. Heracles has a young squad with a majority in the 21-25 year old range. I think that bodes well for LDLT. I really want this kid to break through and I’m excited he’s landed at a decent club in a good league like Heracles.

    A bit forgetful:

    Ai ai ai

De la Torre is 3-0 on the shoe with four minutes of injury time, but forgets to keep the ball low.

you can’t really fault luca if he is so excited to actually be playing that he doesn’t jump at the chance to run out the clock

After a corner in their area, Heracles defenders clears the ball that falls to vdWater, he's clear on the run, pass to the captain Propper who dribbles and sends the ball into the area. LDLT redirects it to vdWater who scores.
