Yes please. Then we can get Odegaard back and maybe Camavinga. Andrea Pirlo (May 2019): "I think Juventus need Isco. They are on another level, but you have to win the Champions League.."— Forza Juventus (@ForzaJuveEN) August 8, 2020
I dont think we will see anymore from Isco than he has already shown us, and that is not enough to even get up and warm up when we needed goals against City. I would sell him but its not a good sellers market right now so I doubt we would get decent value for him. He is easily a 50-60M player, but I doubt anyone's paying that now.
I’ve not had a chance to see him play a full match live but from the clips I’ve seen I can’t beleive he’s 17!
Doesn't matter who Zidane "won't" sell. Florentino wouldn't sell James sorry ass even of Zidane begged him so unless Florentino begins to not like Isco; he's staying.
Flo for as good as he is, and I think he is the best, really overreacts like a rookie day trader. We lose to Atletico and he blocks 2 good transfers. Really perplexing
RM Spanish fans were already moaning about selling him to Atlético before the pre-season drubbing. Media were writing us off as third place team despite the signings then. So there was considerable pressure on Flo locally.
No no we should just give them all for free....Evil Flo wants Zidane to fail so he can sack him. He is the one who is always forcing Zidane to play Isco ahead of his favorite James...
I like Villarreal. They play a good brand of football We have to manage this kid well. He is our top prospect imo
He is out best ever. He still does so many things that hurt us. Zidane is our best ever. He still does so many things that are questionable. These are our guys and I wouldn't switch them no matter what. Just wish they would be perfect lol.
He didn't block a James transfer, he blocked a James transfer to Atleti. When Atleti won that friendly, Cerezo came out saying that Real Madrid is now the "small club of Madrid", and that Atleti have established themselves as the number 1 in the city. That was during active negotiations, and the already rocky relationship between Florentino and Cerezo was absolutely done for. Remember, when we decided to play at the Di Stefano stadium, suddenly Spain got super optimistic about playing with fans, and Cerezo tried to continue this "Real Madrid is the small club" thing by saying they would "help" Real Madrid by "allowing them" to play on their ground in order to have fans in home games as well, and the club responded strongly to that. There's definitely a passive aggressive thing going on. If James joins Atleti this summer, it's because he fell so low in the clubs ranks that the club considers the transfer as getting rid of a problem.
And James gave us hell in CL semis with Bayern in 2018. So it's not like anyone thought James is washed up player that won't hurt us in the league and CL playing for Atlético last summer. Napoli wanted loan deal and ended up signing Lozano for 42 ME. He ended up having a flop debut season there.
No. But Llorente was a benchwarmer for us for two years straight. 40 ME for a back up DM was too good to reject and they had Partey anyways. Same with Hermoso whom we owned 50% rights. Spanish fans were already pissed that we were selling Llorente and it increased tenfold after pre-season drubbing regarding James sale. Marca had articles about how we are helping Atlético build a great team and how fat Hazard is and how brilliant Felix looks in pre-season. James stature was way higher especially given how he performed for Bayern in 2017-18 under Heyneckes. His biggest issue last season was constant injuries until Covid break.
Napoli latest club to show interest in Reguilon. #Calciomercato #Napoli, sondaggio per #Reguilón https://t.co/ZSqUga7SHA— Gianluca Di Marzio (@DiMarzio) August 9, 2020
Nope. Yup, it was purely a knee jerk reaction from Florentino to one match that essentially led us to keeping both Bale and James. Massive blunder and out of character.
I need some rumors lol anything, the fact that we’re not linked to anyone could indicate that Perez indeed meant it when he said no transfer, although after the CL exit I doubt he keeps that stance.
Well according to AS, Pirlo's first request is Isco. But I think they're just making up some shit based off of an old quote from Pirlo.
I mean I want to hear rumors about incoming transfers not outgoing ones and yea I doubt Isco is going anywhere next season.
