Zidane is always deflecting blame from the players where possible. When it has been a technical exclusion, he has said it's his decision who to play and who not to play.

If Bale felt any injustice his loudmouth agent would be all over the news the next day refuting it.

Please no, let me remain hopeful that both James and Bale are both just making sure they are staying healthy to maximize their potential as transfer targets for other clubs. :D

We’ve got to find a way to get rid of him before the season starts.

This isn't true. We just need our president to let him ********ing go and not force him to stay when his agent brings us a team's offer.

I honestly believe he will be gone this summer. It will be a free transfer and maybe we stay on the hook for 25% or 50% of his wages but the way he (and James) asked to be left out if the squad completely....... you don’t come back from that. My gut says Barnett has already been talking to clubs.

Agreed. I have no doubt he's gone. Him and James are just distractions right now and nowhere close to being Real Madrid level if we're being honest.

    I read it's a loan.

If even they just pay his wages in full, I don't care. Get him out and get his wages off the books

I would be open to a swap loan. We get Ndombele on loan as a placeholder while we wait for Camavinga and they can have Bale on loan.

Even if they offer to pay 100% it won't matter if we kill the deal and force him to stay in the end anyways.

That would be fantastic but we know it would never happen.

    Idk

I don't see Flo making that mistake twice. Only way I see Flo wanting to keep them is if Zidane retires or pursues a new challenge

Man wasn't that guy supposed to be a world beater too?

Even still, maybe it was the wrong fit and I'd be up for it.

If Napoli is legit interested in Reguilon we should try and get Fabian Ruiz from them.

Really? I like him a lot. Good passing range, strong enough to get stuck in, high energy level and covers a lot of ground. 3 goals and 6 assist this season is solid from a CM. Kroos had 4 and 5, Modric 3 and 7. He’d be a good addition in my eyes. I wouldn’t pay a huge amount but if a swap deal could be worked out I’d be happy. That said unless someone leaves or Zidane rotate Kroos more he wouldn’t have a ton of playing time.

Napoli values him way too high for what he offers (reportedly 80M last summer). That's probably double what I would pay for him.

Agreed. That’s why I said i wouldn’t pay a huge amount. Their owner is insane when quoting transfer fees. I’d pay 50-60 for him

Said last summer I don’t think he’s leaving despite everyone assuming he was.

This summer I think they’re may be a chance actually. 50/50 chance right now I’d say.

The only reason he didn't leave was because Florentino killed his deal.
