Arsenal is probably the only British club I could see him fitting at (other than Liverpool because Klopp would love him), but I'd still rather he go to Italy.

Of course, I dream of BvB spending some of the Sancho money to bring James back to Bundesliga and get revenge on Munich....but it would never happen.

he didn’t like Germany because his ex doesn’t want to live there. He wants Spain so his wife moves back and he can be with his daughter.

My point is that his whim of madrid isnt related to be with his daughter or something....is just up to him.....

James got some issues man lol. Somebody needs to just shake some sense into him, you got lots of time to buy sons and live in Madrid in 6-7 years, hell you won't have shit else to do when you retire!

That doesn't clear it up. He says he knew his career at Madrid was over when he found out Zidane was coming. That was obvious regardless of where he was

He still told Bayern not to resign him because as we now know, he hated Germany. He went back to Madrid in June and Zidane was there since March. James went back hoping to be sold and that was about to happen until Atletico trashed Madrid in the preseason and Florentino blocked the transfer.

He should just go to America de Mexico and build a chemistry with Roger and Benedetti.

Which also is a head scratcher because Bayern had a purchase clause so even if he didn't like Bayern he could have worked through them to get a transfer. I don't know that would have been complicated but he had much more power then he lets on, he never even demanded out etc, could have gone to the press to force their hand like he is now.

I'm pretty sure James made the decision to leave Bayern way before june. There were lots of rumors of him leaving long before they made it public. No team is going to accept a player just announcing that he is leaving on the next flight.

And why would he say his career, because of ZZ, is over in Madrid if he was planning to get transfered?

He was on loan at Bayern but still a Madrid player. Just like Ceballos and even Regullion and Hakimi knew their careers at Madrid were over since Zidane is at the helmet. They know they are going to have to find another home permanently

But if James returned to RMA only to get transfered somewhere else, that means his career was already over in RMA. Why would he then say "se acabó mi historia en RMA" (when finding out ZZ was returning) if it was already over? Makes no sense.

I think we can go around in circles

But the fact remains whether either one of us is right

    1. He wanted out of Bayern no matter what

    2. Once he found out Zidane was coming back, he knew his career at Madrid was over.

So we can argue your view that he was planning to go back to madrid and the news screwed him was accurate or my view which is he asked bayern not to buy him despite of Zidane being there because he wanted a transfer to a different club since Zidane was back and he didnt wanna stay in Germany.

Both theories could be right and him saying Zidane meant the end of his Madrid career fit both scenarios

Only thing that is important is next season on. We need him playing and doing well to qualify. With a healthy, motivated James we are a much better team that can not be argued. He is our X factor. No one else is going to give us that spark. Even some of the Quintero fan boys must know that he can’t provide the same production and will prob be in Arabia or China next season.

But if James went to Madrid ONLY to get transfered to another team, doesn't that mean his career was over in Madrid? If that's the case then it doesn't make any sense saying his career is over (because of ZZ) when it was already over, does it?

He could have thought that while still at Bayern. James can be thinking I want out of Bayern and goingb back to Madrid was one of the options. Once Zidane was announced, never mind. My career at Madrid is over. I gotto find a new home

I have been saying it for months now. but I think Queiroz is done with James. Or at the very least is prepared to do qualifying without James (as the star).
His formations and tactics will be more suited for someone like Diaz or even Sinisterra to roam around the wings with speed and hustle. Roger seems to be the guy for the moment but I can see those two taking over very soon assuming they are healty.

I like James but his style of game and lack of playing time does not seem to fit in with the current style of play.

Ok, now i understand what you are saying. But I still don't think he said it in that sense. “Cuando Pedrerol anuncia la vuelta de Zidane, James se entera y a los 15 minutos la frase literal fue “se acabo mi historia con el Real Madrid”. Desde ahí ya sabía que no iba a tener oportunidad”, afirmó en el programa ‘El Chiringuito’.

If he doesn’t call up James even if he is without a club and the two games we lose are Argentina and Brazil away. He will be fired as people will go apeshit

    This could happen.
Which is why I think there is still a chance he will be called up and given a chance, but on the flip side if we win and look very organized without James people won't be saying much.

Either way, whatever the reason was, James made a poor decision and that interview just made him look worse.

He talks about the EPL..but why would an epl team sign him when he complains about cold weather and learning a new language

    Truly headscratching
