He did play in Italy for Lippi and then in Spain under Del Bosque so clearly he must have learnt a lot under these managers.

So as things stand today, he is the 2nd most successful RM coach in its entire history, and, without a doubt, the most successful given his major title/year ratio :D
I hope he adds a few more league titles to his name before he leaves/retires (I just can't see him staying here for more than 2-3 seasons). Another CL won't be a bad bonus:cool:

I want him to stay long enough to see him coach a team without the whole old guard (Cris,Benz, Modric, Marcelo, Ramos).

Interested who he'll bring in to replace them, if we'll keep the same system etc.

That would be very interesting indeed. Hope to see it happening.

Zidane is missing a Copa Del Rey at this moment. I don't think anyone ever want him to win an Europa League

I hope he wins a bunch of them. With Juve. When he’s 85.

That's coincidentaly the average age of their current squad so if things progress the way they are he could potentially suit up for them.

Looks like we're going to have to change the title from I'm Back! to I'm Back?...

if he leaves again i say f it and promote Raul.Having a legend as a coach seems to be what is working here .The players will respect Raul the same way they did Zidane,he is even a bigger legend as a player .

I have a feeling he may be the right guy to develope Vinicius/Rodrygo.

Still i want Zidane to stay

Leaving would be awful for everyone involved. He is a young coach and if you allow time to pass, these mistakes will become history as long as he doesn't repeat it. He spent a lot in the summer and released some players with a plan in mind. It would be disastrous to bring a new coach to rebuild again.

Maybe he is using leverage to get players?

Dermot omitted some of the things ZZ said to create drama.

    Future
"I'm here. I'm the coach of Real Madrid and that's that. There are no more questions to ask in this regard. Now we have to rest and then we'll all come back to have a great season".

    Hazard
"He's fine. He played his game. Everyone can have their say, but the player was physically fine and not suffering from any discomfort or anything, which in the end is the most important thing".

lol, so he's saying Hazard was fit and still played like dog shit?

I wouldnt blame Zidane for putting some conditions on whether he stays or not.

Would they be tied to a share of self criticism or not? Because i think he's done exceptionally but setting conditions to stay would demand a wider discussion on whether he himself has been completely up to the task.

Obviously he hasn’t been perfect, yesterday for example he’s made some really bizarre decisions however the upside with him outweighs the downside, he’s a great coach and it’s important for both him and US that his job is made to be easy.

The man is most likely going on a vacation/taking some time off now. I consider any and every report and what he wants or doesn't want to be nonsense and trash the newspapers print to capitalise on the moment.

Hmmm I wonder why he would want to leverage?

Oh, yeah that's right. Our president came outba day after we won La Liga and announced to him and the world he we wouldn't be adapting our team.

    Fantastic move.

Were they so bizarre? We had a bunch of players completely out of form and checked our mentally.

He didn't even react to the obvious or adapt his team to attempt to regain an advantage.

I find it crazy people think someone as competitive as Zidane wouldn't do what Mourinho and other highly competitive managers have done which is attempt to send his boss a message.

Anyways, crazy conspiracy! That never has ever happened.

And Zidane showed him by playing 11 players for like 85 minutes and leaving one of our finest out of the tie. Take THAT Florentino, bring me players because i used up all i have here.

Man, that's some lively imagination people have.

Zidane most likely wants to win, whoever assumes that he plays mind games on the field or in front of a microphone is merely projecting.
