99-Hanraths moved to Schalke II in Summer 2020 from Gladbach II and already training with 1st team.

Schalke 1st team training includes, Schubert, Becker, Hanraths, Thiaw, Bozdogan, Boujellab, Serdar, Mercan, and Kutucu (permanently poached by Turkey).

no new names outside of Hanraths. Although Schalke has interesting 02-04s that's for sure so only a matter of time before we see new names.

From Schalke II, I'm curious to see if outside/new additions of
Schuler (Winter), Fesenmeyer (Summer), Matriciani (Summer), Flick (Summer) and Hanraths (Summer) if any of them get 1st team chances next season.

or if someone like Hofmann adds to his 1 1BL game from last season.

-A scouting report on 00 CM Becker from back in Winter 2020.

    Conclusion
In this tactical analysis, we saw that Finn Ole Becker is an exceptional talent with some great qualities. Now we can describe him as a ball carrier, great dribbler and a good player to control the midfield. There are some areas where he needs to improve but he is still only 19 and he has his whole career ahead of him. I can see clubs from Bundesliga and Premier League already lining up for him this summer. And even if it may not be a grand (yet), he will definitely play in a big team if nothing strange happens.
    https://footballbh.net/2020/01/11/finn-ole-becker-201920-scout-report-tactical-analysis-tactics/

-Highlights of 02 CF Asllani, who moved to Hoffenheim II this Summer. I expect he's a 1st team prospect otherwise doubt he moves there and he also skips U19 it seems.

looks like 98-Ozcan and 02-Lemperle tested + for corona.
According to the "Express", these were Tim Lemperle and Salih Özcan. Both are now isolated from the team for at least ten days.

FC Sports Director Horst Heldt said about the condition of his protégés: "They left the group directly and went into quarantine. One of the two had milder symptoms, one of them none."

Missing for whatever reason: Pfeiffer (unfit), Arslan, Crosthwaite (02)

only goal conceded as a PK which Bader caused.
it's weird seeing 2 injury prone 96 CF in same club in Platte and Seydel at the same club.

    -Stuttgart trashed 2BL Sandhausen 6-1.
2nd half: Massimo, Aidonis, Egloff (02), Mack, Kleinhansl

the only goal conceded for Stuttgart was in 1st half. So none of defensive players were involved.

Sandhausen doesn't play any young players closest to 1st team is 00-Zauner (poached by Venezuela)

-H96 beat another Hannover club 5-2.
Played: Tarnat (only player to play full 90, was he played at RB??), Stehle, Walbrecht, Maina, Ochs, Evina (Cameroon), Muslija (Kosovo)

    injured: Gudra

-2BL Furth drew 3rd Liga Wehen (2BL last season), 2-2.
Furth: Kratzer, Jaeckel, Raum, Subaric, Leweling, Torlak (02, drew the PK for 1st goal), Gurleyen, Lungwitz, Stach, T.Tillman,

missing: Bauer and Kehr, recall Bauer got injured end of season.

Wehen: Cicatelli (02), Dentico (02), Guthorl, Carstens (on loan)

    -Union Berlin beat Cottbus 3-1.
Union: Maciejewski (played 66 min), Taz (scored, played 90), Dietz, N.Schlotterbeck (on loan), Teuchert, Liebelt (02)

Cottbus: Stawecki, Korb, Postelt (02), N.Geisler, Kujovic (02), Jarosch, Hoppe (scored their loan goal, recall he got tons of praise when he played Bayern in DFB Cup)

    -Karlsruher beat FSV Frankfurt 3-1.
Karlsruher: Rabold, Dinger, Groiss, Goller, Kother, Bolay (02), Batmaz, Trivunic

02-Kelati is the one who scored vs 2BL Karlsruher. He's the one who signed pro contract at the RL club and who also stated that tons of 1BL clubs wanted to poach him.

-Augsburg beat some RL club 9-0.
Played: Richter, Lowen, Uduokhai, Civeja (02)

    Unused: Leneis, Stanic (Croatia)
Missing: Asta (recently returned from injury), Malone

-RB Salzburg beat 5th place in Ligue 1 Nice 4-1.
Adeyemi started the 1st half and then Berisha in 2nd half scored a brace!

Bayern Bench vs Chelsea in CL

includes Hoffmann,Tillman, Musiala and Mbi. Yeah not suspicious that the 2 Chelsea kids are already 1st teamers.....Tillman and Mbi both make their 1st ever matchday squad for the 1st team in competitive games.

Flick could use some towards end of the game Bayern as 3-0 lead and 3 away goals by the end end of the match the game could already be sealed.

question is where is Zirkzee and OBM? Seems like Zirkzee is out due to foot problem. Wonder why OBM was left out? Also unfit??? I mean Musiala and Tillman are both center players while OBM is playable all over the attack.

so is OBM going on loan? Honestly the whole OBM case is bizarre. You got him/management want to go on loan but Flick wants a 4th new W but still wants him to stay likely for back up reasons. At one point reports says he staying and another he's going on loan, seems all over the place. With Singh in FCN, doubt he goes there. Could be interesting to see him on loan to Hoff in 1BL with Hoeness BUT there are way way too many attacking players at that club even with 3 competitions.

I mean you would think if he's fit (no idea if he is or isn't) that he would be in squad instead of GK #3 Hoffmann being there.....

lol Chelsea now needs to score 5 goals just to advance. Let's hope Flick plays someone although hard to care if he plays Musiala who likely will play for England.

    RB Leipzig update,

    -On 01-Hartmann,
Except for Hartmann, all players are fit and in Lisbon
Young striker Fabrice Hartmann, who will be one of three talents in the professional squad in the coming season, will stay at Cottaweg and continue his rehabilitation after a cruciate ligament rupture in Leipzig.

looks like the reason why 02 CF Borkowski didn't play the Wolfsburg friendly was due to him being unfit. But he seems to have trained again on Thursday and traveled with the squad for the CL QF.

-and another post about 01-Hartmann and 02-Borkowski. It calls them both CF but they can both play W/CF.

Three youngsters firmly in the professional squad RB established career center for top talent

In the past few months, RB Leipzig has installed a career center for young players, which will start at the beginning of the coming season and will continue to establish itself. The aim is to promote young players in a more targeted and individual manner in order, in the best case scenario, to permanently integrate talents into the professional team and to train professional footballers for other clubs and leagues.

“The core of our youth training is to introduce as many young players as possible into the professional squad and, ideally, to integrate them. In order to advance this direction, we have installed Career Center and will now continuously develop and expand it, ”said sports director Markus Krösche.

Three permanent positions for talents in the professional team
Among other things, there are now three permanent management positions for the most talented talents in the professional team. In the coming season these are the strikers Dennis Borkowski and Fabrice Hartmann as well as Hugo Novoa. Hartmann tore a cruciate ligament in April. It is currently not operational again.

As part of the career center, RB is expanding its international network in order to offer young players a variety of loan options, the club said. Tom Krauss (1. FC Nürnberg) and Frederik Jäkel (KV Ostend) are currently awarded for two years.

Krösche: "Talents are supported innovatively, flexibly and responsibly"
“Ultimately, we want to create a variety of options with which our players can develop in the best possible way - ideally by jumping into the professional squad. With this new approach, the training of our talents is supported innovatively, flexibly and responsibly, ”said Krösche.

Ex-professional Per Nilsson coordinates the center in close coordination with Krösche and the junior managers Sebastian Kegel and Christian Streit. Club boss Oliver Mintzlaff is dissatisfied with the income from the expensive management forge and had been optimizing the youth training center since the beginning of the year.

I hope Hartmann and Borkowski get integrated and that Jakel and Krauss's loans are successful and both come back in Summer 2022 to 1st team. Then hopefully Wosz follows Hartmann/Borkowski's route while Talabidi/Martel/Schreiber go on loan.

would be nice to finally see this club do something with their Academy.

LOL this is why OBM really should go on loan.....Dajaku too but get feeling that only 1 would be allowed to go on loan.

Bayern leads 4-1 (7-1 on aggregate) and Flick subs in for last sub, Martinez. Like this guy really isn't into any game time for youngsters even in irrelevant games even when they have HUGE leads, LMAO.

more funny Martinez a DM/CB subs in for the attacker Gnabry.:ROFLMAO: And isn't Martinez someone who is always linked with leaving???

and he sure won't play anyone vs Barca in QF or any possible SF/Final. This game was likely last chance for game time for the young inexperienced players.

Come on,be a little realistic;)Bayern had a break after the end of Bundesliga, pretty logical that Flick gives game time and rhythm to the guys who could eventually be important in the next CL games and these are probably not Tillman or Mbi

naw even during the season tons of games, Bayern had huge leads and chances 0. Irrelevant games end of season only bit mins and that's it. Flick has done 0 real integration barring Zirkzee like he's the only he seems to want to give real chances.

Martinez isn't even relevant player anyways and he wastes a sub with 7-1 lead on him. And that Spanish RB on loan has been average in every game and Flick still plays him and still promises he will give him game time, like lol.

last update on OBM from like 4 days ago.
1-The deal is far from being dry. In the race for the coveted talent with Brazilian roots, the people of Nuremberg only have outsider opportunities.

    Batista-Meier has several offers
Batista-Meier has offers from home and abroad. The only thing that is certain is that the player's management, who trains regularly with the Bayern professionals, is now aiming for a loan. Discussions with those responsible at FC Bayern are pending soon.

2-then from kicker when Singh was first linked with 2BL FCN before he signed,
The hot-traded German-Brazilian Oliver Batista Meier (19) is not, even if the FCN has thought about him very well. According to kicker information, the 21-year-old Singh has moved into the center of interest.

I mean the original report said that FCN only had outsider chance. Logic dictates that if OBM isn't into FCN that kind of means he's likely not going to 2BL. Makes you think 1BL or 1st division abroad is likely options. I mean if you want to go to 2BL than FCN isn't a bad place to be at especially with the new coach and what they are trying to do there.

at this point, I think barely anyone will jump directly to Bayern 1st team for realz and not talking about back up status. Bayern II will likely only be step 1 to get to 1st team. I wouldn't be surprised for attacking players if they need to be like Gnabry who had 2 year 1BL loans before getting Bayern 1st team chance. At end of the day, this club isn't that keen on integration, even Kroos, Alaba and Lahm all went on loan. Like Muller and Basti were rare Bayern youth player who never went on loan. The higher level the loan the more likely you'll have chances in 1st team.

looks like 02-Wosz also seems to indicate he's in Portugal where Leipzig will play EL. So him and 02-Borkowski seems like they'll make the matchday squad wonder if one will get surprise start. I do think it's interesting that the Wolfsburg friendly Wosz was only player to play full 90.

-Update on Vagnoman and Serie A.
The Gialloblù club presented an offer of 4 million euros, including bonuses, for defender Josha Vagnoman. Hamburg, the club owner of the card, asks - as we read today in "L'Arena" - at least 5.5 million. A call between the two companies is expected on Monday.
    https://m.tuttohellasverona.it/rass...il-verona-costretto-ad-alzare-l-offerta-35508

-Update on 99-Gurleyen on trial with Furth in 2BL, as mentioned above Wehen were in 2BL last season so not a weak team.
Ahmet Gürleyen made his debut in the clover leaf jersey alongside Mergim Mavraj in central defense. The robust test player from FSV Mainz 05 offered a solid game.
    https://www.nordbayern.de/sport/ers...is-gegen-absteiger-wehen-wiesbaden-1.10333447

    opinion on him,
Gürleyen played for 45 minutes in yesterday's test match against Wehen Wiesbaden (2-2) and played an unexcited, decent game. I found him very robust and strong in duels, even though half-time in a test kick doesn't have much to say.

-Mainz's comments on loaning out 99 LB J.Meier to 3rd Liga.
"Jonathan has developed really well since he was here at Bruchweg. Towards the end of last season he made his way into the Bundesliga squad with strong training performances and would have earned a job. We would now like to give him the opportunity to step up to play as many games as possible at a high level, so that his development can continue ", says 05 sports director Rouven Schröder.

kind of reads like he could get 1st team chances in 2021.

-Koln U19 beat some OL club 4-0 in friendly.
    Goals scored by 03-Breuer X2, 03-Schmid and 02-Obuz

just remembered that the 01 age group U19 Elite Round qualifiers will be between September 2-8 2020.....uh that's like 3 weeks and a half away from now. Means we likely will know squad soon enough.

only reason it didn't get canceled is due to U19 Euro=qualifiers for U20 WC.

would guess that Moukoko and Samardzic will continue to play with this older age group.

speaking of dfb, so what's the thing with 01-Voloder. He's provisionally capped by Bosnia but dfb kept calling him up to U19 friendlies last season but he still hasn't switched. It's annoying because we are calling up and played a player for 3 games when if he decides to go Bosnia that game time could have been used for others.

he's a perfect example of why I think poaching shouldn't be allowed until certain age. You don't even give the producing country time to look at your pool before other countries call up or try to call up any player who's eligible to them due to nationality. Like Bosnia called him up when he was 16, don't think he made big leap until he started to play in U19.

the thing is Voloder once he starts to play Koln 1st team for realz. I wouldn't be surprised if Bosnia wants to call him up to the Senior NT to get him permanently.

same for Asllani who dfb called up last season, what's next there? Does it make sense to call up player who's provisionally capped by another? And once he plays Hoff 1st team, I would bet Kosovo would want to permanent cap tie him too.

will these 2 be like L.Nmecha or will they be a waste of time from dfb perspective?

-Bayern's traveling Lisbon squad includes Hoffmann, OBM, Tillman, Musiala and Mbi.

-Bremen U17's 04 CF Topp seems to have scored 7 goals in 2 preaseason matches. Will be curious to see how he does come season time.

-on 99 CB Gurleyen on trial at 2BL Furth.
Mavraj as the last experienced central defender
Compared to nordbayern.de, Leitl went into a little more detail in his analysis: “Overall, I think the second half was better than the first because we didn't allow anything in the second half apart from individual ball losses and the goal we conceded. In the first half it was the case that one or the other time the vote didn't go as we had imagined. "

Ahmet Gürleyen, who formed the central defense with Mergim Mavraj after the break, also contributed to the second half, which was more stable from Leitl's point of view. The 21-year-old delivered a decent 45 minutes and certainly did not deteriorate his chances of a contract with the clover leaf. When the people in charge of Fürth decide on a firm commitment to the youngster, who has been in trial training since Tuesday, is still open.

It is clear, however, that the German-Turk, who was recently awarded to FC Liefering, currently has no prospects in Mainz and the 05er will not put any major obstacles in the way of the two-time German U20 national player. In addition to the 22-year-old Paul Jaeckel and the 20-year-old Maximilian Bauer, Gürleyen would be the third very young central defender in Fürth. Apart from veteran Mavraj, there would be little experience in this part of the team after Marco Caligiuri's retirement.

    Double Koln update,
1-02 Obuz and 03-Castrop are both in training with Koln 1st team.

    2-On corona infected 98-Ozcan and 02-Lemperle.
After consulting with the Cologne health department, the two professionals have to be in quarantine at home for ten days (no longer 14 days), according to sports director Horst Heldt. While Özcan reportedly shows no symptoms, Lemperle also needs medical care, as he shows at least mild symptoms of the virus ‘. The duo had apparently been infected with the virus during the summer break and had been withdrawn from circulation by FC after the first positive test on Wednesday, before the suspicion was confirmed with a second positive test on Friday. Trainer Markus Gisdol hopes that both will be healthy and fit again for the training camp in Donaueschingen. For both players after the recovery, participation in the ten days in Baden-Württemberg would be of great importance.

    Boarding school ensures NLZ stop

While Lemperle is doing his first preparation as a professional and now has to take it easy, Özcan in particular had a lot when he returned to Cologne. The 22-year-old had gained a lot of self-confidence in his year on loan at Holstein Kiel, developed into one of the dominant second division midfielders in an attacking and running manner and, despite several offers from other clubs, decided to return to the billy goats. The fact that Özcan is now losing the first two weeks of preparation after having previously worked intensively on an individual basis during the summer break throws the Cologne native noticeably back. From day one he wanted to start the fight for the regular places in midfield on the six, eight and ten. Now the setback, in which you first have to get well before Özcan can have other thoughts.

Lemperle is also likely to have to nibble at the situation. The 18-year-old came from the summer break with great anticipation to attack FC. On the last match day in Bremen Lemperle tasted blood with his first Bundesliga appearance and wanted to prove himself immediately in training. First of all, that fails. Lemperle shows only mild symptoms, but the report of his positive test was enough not only to put the lanky offensive player in quarantine at home, but also to check his surroundings. And this already led to the fact that the entire Cologne youth department was influenced on Wednesday afternoon. Since Lemperle lives in Cologne's sports boarding school and there are still several FC youngsters staying there, FC had to interrupt all training operations from the U16 to the U19 and commission tests. Lemperle had contact with several of his former teammates from the FC-NLZ through the boarding school. According to the requirements of the health authorities, the contact persons of the 18-year-old have now come into focus and must be tested.

FC hopes for a return to normal soon
Neither Özcan nor Lemperle have to worry, since they hadn't undergone any tests since the end of last season and were able to move freely in their free time. It is hardly possible to find out where they got infected. But it is clear that the FC is now again sensitized to the omnipresent topic. The FC youth team is hoping to resume training on Tuesday. The U21 is not affected and can keep training and test match plans. Meanwhile, the professionals hope that there will be no further positive tests in the coming weeks, so that the team can travel to training camp with Özcan and Lemperle on August 20th.

There are numerous reason why Bayern youngsters don't get too many chances. Things like coaches want results, lack of trusts but another always forgotten reason is that Bayern 1st team made of ego maniac players. If you play others they get pissed as hell.

so is this why Flick played Martinez, because it's his last game ever at the Allianz Arena? Also LMAO Cuisance hasn't done jack shit and he's getting pissed off for not playing. He got trashed by Gladbach for his attitude and still selfish as ever even after moving to Bayern. I mean how many times do we see reports about Tolisso, Thiago, Hernandez etc getting pissed as hell because they don't always play. How does one integrate young players when the benchers would riot if they don't get playing time themselves? Also funny how guys dumped by Kovac thrived under Flick while guys who had better cards with Kovac have lesser with Flick.

    Cuisance disappointed and angry
Aside from the action on the field, Michael Cuisance and Javi Martinez caused a brief stir: When the only 20-year-old ex-Gladbacher found out that Javi Martinez would be substituted on as the fifth player, he hissed disappointingly back into the stands : gesticulating and cursing. There he quickly took off his shoes and leotard, even angrily threw utensils over the railing in front of him. He was not taken into account. Instead Martinez and previously Corentin Tolisso (scorer to 3-1) came for the central midfield.

    Hernandez takes photos for Martinez
And his Spanish colleague, who was allowed to get involved from the 81st minute, came back out onto the lawn after the shower. Together with Lucas Hernandez. Martinez stood on the lawn and looked into the distance at the fan curve, while the Frenchman, standing behind him, took photos of it. Were they memories of possibly the last game for Martinez in the Allianz Arena?

    Preseason Friendlies,
    -Bremen beat 2BL EB 2-0.
Bremen 1st half: Agu and Rieckmann
Bremen 2nd half: Haesler (GK), Mbom, J.Eggestein and Woltemade

Missing: Plogmann and Philipp which indicates they might go on loan.
Unfit: Schonfelder who should be fit again like August 23ish

EB is pretty old team with Y.Otto, N.Otto and Burger being the youngest players than quadruple 97 of Putaro, Klass, Ziegle, and Kammerbauer. Youngest players on team are 21 and N.Otto isn't even a regular either....

    -2BL HSV beat 3rd Liga HR 1-0.
HSV XI: David, Ambrosius (scored the winner), Opoku, and Wintzheimer
    2nd half: Vagnoman, Hein, Pinckert

    Unused: Fabisch and Bukusu
Also Ambrosius and Opoku were only players to play full 90.

-AB beat some minnow club 5-0.
    XI: Pieper, Kunze, Seufert
Subs: Niemann (scored), Rehnen, Lucoqui, Consbruch (02, scored last one)

Missing/unused: S.Muller and Owusu (he likely ends up leaving)

-Heracles lost 1-0 to another Eredivisie club PEC.
Test players Oubella and Bulut played entire 2nd half and the goal conceded was in 1st half too.

-Hertha Berlin II beats 3rd Liga club Wehen (were in 2BL last season) 3-2.....yeah a lot of players in II are playing below their level.

3rd Liga Wehen played following players in both halves.
Becker, Grosser, Konigsdorffer (scored, ex Hertha player), Diawusie (assist), Kade, J.Meier, Daferner, Kulke, Ehlers, Schrewe (02), Gollnack (02, pro contract).

    Hertha II squad
Palmowski, Gurschke, Baak, Albrecht, Covic, P.Dardai, Michelbrink (scored cracker), Storm (scored winner), Atemona (02), Dirkner (02), Schubert (02), Aksakal etc.

so Baak, Covic, Kiprit and P.Dardai will continue playing RL??? lol at Germans and lack of career progress, it's time these 4 move on from RL. I doubt they get real chances in 1st team.

    -Schalke beat 2BL Osnabruck 5-1 (1-0, HT).
Schalke 1st half: Becker, Hofmann, Mercan, Boujellab, Serdar
2nd half: Schubert, Kutucu (Turkey, scored the 5th), Bozdogan (assisted the 4th goal), Thiaw, Hanraths, Frolich

so Schalke in end used 97-Hofmann, 99-Hanraths and 00-Frolich from Schalke II. Makes sense Hofmann made his 1BL/pro debut last season and kept making squads. Interesting to note, 3/3 of the II players are not Schalke Academy players, just players who moved to II at some point.

Osnabruck 1st half: Moller, Klaas, Amenyido, Ihorst (on loan)
2nd half (incomplete names): Beckemeyer, Auge, Schmidt

-Looks like another Koln youth player training with 1st team is 03 GK Urbig.

-98 CB Ambrosius is getting rave reviews was like only + in last game of season and also in 1st game for preseason. He's getting praised by Thioune and even David got + remarks.

Ambrosius, the first winner among Thioune!
In test game no. 1 of the preparation, Thioune wanted to see stable defense behavior. The coach was satisfied: "Overall, I agreed with the performance in the game against the ball."

Quite different from Ambrosius, the talent from Wilhelmsburg. Thioune: “I saw him as absolutely positive. It is an opportunity for Ambrosius. Not much talk, deliver. He did that. Stephan made no mistakes and was rewarded with a goal. He has shown that you can count on him. "

Ambrosius (1.82 meters) described his header hit modestly: “I'm not the greatest. I was there at the right time. ”With his booth he gave himself and his colleagues a free Monday morning. Thioune: "Success is rewarded."

Thioune praised the 21-year-old home-grown man for his lecture at the side of the only 20-year-old Jonas David. "We have two very young central defenders, and of course I would like quality and robustness because the young chain could use leadership. But every challenge is an opportunity." Both of them used them, and Ambrosius also set a real exclamation point.

-concerning the Stuttgart friendly from yesterday, saw + mentions for Kleinhansl, Egloff, and Massimo. Not sure about Mack and Aidonis, although seems like Stuttgart coach put him ahead of Badstuber. While Mack has been called loaning candidate for weeks now, time will tell.

Matarazzo does not go into detail when he talks about the perspectives of individuals. In the case of the former national player, however, the general statements of the coach reveal that his efforts are not looking good. "Holger takes the situation very professionally," says the head coach. "I told him before the game that I wanted to give Toni (Aidonis, editor's note) a chance because he had trained very well."

-missing name for the Osnabruck squad was 01 W Traore, him and Auge were the 01s who signed pro contracts in Summer, makes sense.

    -More on HSV Youth.
The test against Rostock was a clue where HSV should go this season. Six youngsters in the starting eleven. And with Josha Vagnoman (19) came the seventh talent after the break.

Project J! There hasn't been so many young people at HSV for many years.

In addition to Vagnoman, Stephan Ambrosius (21), Jonas David (20), Amadou Onana (18), Aaron Opoku (21), Xavier Amaechi (19) and Manuel Wintzheimer (21) are six other young players who are an integral part of the second division squad.

After the second missed promotion to the Bundesliga and the departure of trainer Dieter Hecking (55, now sports director in Nuremberg), the bosses around sports director Jonas Boldt (38) and sports director Michael Mutzel (40) have to correct the course decided.

With Daniel Thioune (46), who worked for VfL youngsters for five and a half years before his professional job in Osnabrück, Boldt has hired a specialist in promoting talent. In line with this, he issued the “Development” season goal.

Probably not entirely voluntarily either. Corona crisis, the departure of the main sponsor Emirates and the stadium namesake Klaus-Michael Kühne (83), less TV money (only 20.15 million) - all of this means empty coffers in the Volkspark. There is no alternative to the path with young players.

    An overview, no new names 98-Ambrosius (CB), 00-David (CB/DM), 99-Opoku (W), 00-Vagnoman (RB/LB), 99-Wintzheimer (CF).
► Stephan Ambrosius (contract until 2021). The central defender, who once trained at Einigkeit Wilhelmsburg, has been with the club for eight years. In 2018 he celebrated his Bundesliga premiere at 1-1 in Stuttgart under ex-coach Christian Titz (49). He had to wait over two years until his second professional appearance, then Hecking brought him against Sandhausen (1: 5). In between there was a cruciate ligament rupture and uncertain months.

► Jonas David (contract until 2024). Like Ambrosius a hamburger. Moved to HSV via Meiendorf and Norderstedt in 2014. The U20 national player (4 appearances) was loaned to second division promoted Würzburg in the second half of the season and gained match experience. After he extended it for four years in the summer, the defensive all-rounder wants to get playing time in Hamburg.

► Josha Vagnoman (contract until 2024). The defender has already passed his ten-year HSV anniversary. Robust body, a lot of speed - but still weaknesses in handling the ball. Nevertheless, the U21 national player (premiere in autumn against Spain) is already furthest in his development in the HSV kindergarten. Last round he made 16 games. Without his broken foot it would have been significantly more.

► Aaron Opoku (contract until 2024). Loaned to Rostock in 2029/2020. There, the fast wing striker was used in 33 games (5 goals, 6 assists). Opoku: “They gave me a lot of development.” Above all, he learned that you also have to work backwards. After he was hired by HT 16 in 2011, he received eight years of training at HSV.

► Manuel Wintzheimer (contract until 2022). After his loan year in Bochum (21 games, 3 goals), the former Bayern-Knipser (2013-2018) made his second attempt in Hamburg. Against Rostock, he already gave gas.

based on preseason would think Hein, Pinckert, Fabisch and H.Bukusu also have potential chances. Alidou is likely another too.
