Raul is in a class by himself...huge drop off after him. The fact that Furch is being talked about shows it’s not that great.
Mexico is fine with forwards. Jimenez is doing well and Furch has been putting good numbers for someone who can compete for a 3rd striker spot, better than many if not all other Mexican forwards other than Macias. People talk about him as if he’s doing much worse scoring wise than previous NT strikers like Peralta who was a starter for a couple years.

I'm lucky enough to have seen all of these live. The top 3 required such a crazy amount of skill it's ridiculous. Blanco's goal in particular stands out as it required imagination, skill, and confidence. It should be number one IMO.
IIRC that world cup had a really fun Brazilian team. THere was a player named Josemar (I think) that scored a crazy goal where he pwnt like 4 defenders. That year I rooted for Mexico and Saudi Arabia (I'm pretty sure it was them).
44 years old! The fools that have seen me in person likely would say I pretty much look my age though.
... no será en fecha FIFA. La sede del cotejo sería el Centro de Alto Rendimiento de la FMEXFUT en Toluca. (2/2)— José Juan Vázquez (@josejuangelmx) August 10, 2020

Yeah. Being fair, Ormeño has had a good start this season and could end up with a decent scoring tally.

Mexico vs. Costa Rica on Sept. 30 in Estadio Azteca. The press release didn't mention behind closed doors, but pretty certain it will be. Date outside of FIFA window so expecting two domestic-based squads. #eltrieng— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) August 11, 2020
FMF sporting director Gerardo Torrado saying that the Mexican national team is close to confirming another game in Europe in Oct. (I'm hearing it's likely to be New Zealand). FMF is in process of organizing games in November. No news of where as yet. #eltrieng— Tom Marshall (@mexicoworldcup) August 12, 2020
