Are you people trying to tell me that the MLS is Back Tournament is not the only soccer being played on the planet right now?
It’s okay. I had little hope. I understand the job of the Crew moderators since the elevation of Podin is to have little sense of humor and to elevate the views of the Boogaloo Bill’s of this board. I was just attempting some levity apart from the typical shit show that this board has become.
Uh, your humor detector may need a reset. It was clear that you were joking about reporting Stanger. I thought it was clear that I was joking about having dozed off, and then...well, if I have to explain it, never mind. In any case, whatever fits your narrative. You do you. #onelove
What's wrong with you? Nothing is funny about wishing well to Juventus? Cheaters and liars are a plague on our society.
Don’t get me wrong; I’m no Juve fan. But if Juve were playing Lazio and the losers and their fans got non-stop tickets to the 666th plane of Hades, I know who I’m rooting for.
Yeah, it's because I dislike Italians. Except Zola. Di Matteo. Cudicini. I just don't watch Italian soccer so I won't hear much from Sarri.
I'm a Roma supporter. But to call us "Serie A Giants" is a bit of a stretch. Only 3 Scudetti since 1927. Last one in 2001. No trophies since 2008 when we won our last Copa Italia. 2 straight years missing out on Champions League. We sell all our best players to the vultures from the EPL where Financial Fair Play rules need not apply since they only were ever meant to harm Italian clubs. No De Rossi. No Totti. No soul. Next season starts in 6 weeks. I can't wait. But I'm under no illusion that it will be any different from what has recently preceded it. Forza Roma Sempre. Non si discute, si ama.
I think your definition of "Serie A Giant" is a bit more stringent than the average Joe Sportsfan who reads ESPN.
No Average Joe Sportsfan reads ESPN for Serie A news. And anyone that has even a remedial understanding of European football knows that the ESPN FC is a bunch of third rate Alexi Lalas's....and that includes Crew great Alejandro Moreno who has given up any pretense of objective analysis and only serves to be a small minded TV troll.
A great article on how Bayern became the powerhouse they now are. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/52970612
Juve got screwed by a terrible PK given. They later had a makeup terrible PK given to them but lost on away goals.
I watched the first half in Spanish. At one point, FC Bayern was up 1-4 and had scored all the goals (including an Alaba OG). They were taking Barca apart.
