Absolutely! I live in US and work in Europe a lot. Europeans have learned a lot from history while we still have statues to people who lived and died for the principle of white supremacy. I have spent loads of time in Europe, Germany. I have still not seen a statue of Hitler, Himmler or Goering.

Depends on the country. In countries where I think Yedlin could find/ want a job I'd say he'd be in better if not equal shape. But really, you have no idea what you're talking about, guessing what Yedlin's grandparents think about where he plays.

He should follow Benitez to China, lots of money there.

Compared to shooting unarmed black people in the back? Racism exists everywhere but Europeans ban fans, pulls teams off the field, at least in the advanced countries. Not sure if they have English or German police shooting unarmed black men

Really? I've never noticed. He was raised by his grandparents on the mother's side.

Is this what they call being woke? I sure hope it's called being sarcastic.

There is no doubt that terrible and violent anti-Semitism permeated Europe before and during WWII. But where Yedlin is likely to work: not much of an issue today.

No. I don't. But there are supposedly two statements:
    1. His family afraid of him coming back.
    2. He wants to come back.
Some don't buy the second statement. I don't buy the first.

Hard to imagine that even super woke people won't notice that.

Maybe I missed something, but it seemed that when someone said they don't buy that he wants to come back you suggested his family would want him to come back and not stay in Europe. Who said his family is afraid of him coming back?

Judging by your recent posts, I can't take any chances on what you mean.

They. That's the thing. They are always there wanting to be seen. They are a small % and always will be as long as we actually educate. And they do in Europe.

Unless I'm confused, that's what he said about a week ago.

I deleted that post just as you responded to change it. Anyway, could it be they just want to be around him? Or was it a racism concern?

I believe that he said that they were afraid of him coming back, and that's somewhere in this thread.

So, I guess the question is if Yedlin said it, why don't you believe it?

Somebody was asking about it. But, yeah, I get your point.

I could see Yedlin getting interest from a promoted Prem team as they tend to do last ditch defending where his speed comes in handy. Might be his best chance to maintain salary while getting playing time. Just needs to make sure he gets a decent relegation clause.

As someone of Lithuanian ancestry I find this not really offensive.

He would be an improvement over what Fulham has going on at RB. Not saying that there's any smoke there...

But Fulham does need to upgrade the position.
