Seattle beckons. Now, if I were a real fan of MLS, I would suggest that the league would be best served by the drama that would come from Yedlin signing with Portland. Every league needs a few pantomime villians to really spice up the rivalries.

Makes little sense to spend DP money on a RB.

If the Bund interest in legit he should strongly consider going there. 2nd highest paying league on average. Could probably get a nice 1-1.5M/YR contract.

makes a lot of sense. I doubt he wants to return home to MLS while shy of 30.

This is surprising, given his recent comments on life in the US as a black man in the wake of the killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, etc, etc. Plus I feel like a European lifestyle suits him. More money, more fashion, more lifestyle.

He has been quoted as saying he wants to end up back in Seattle.

Would be cool if he wound up at Schalke.

His market Value is around $8 Million?

    Jonjoe Kenny loan ended.

Would like to see Yedlin become a leader in a prestigious rebuilding squad of a top-leauge. If he signed a deal through 2023, that would set him good playing regularly into a potential 2022 World Cup. Comeback to MLS at in 2023 at 30.

Because it's home: you don't always like a place (or a person) that that you love.

I don't know what his family would prefer, but things change you know? And I don't know why you're bringing up Lithuania when his ancestry is Latvian. I guess it's irrelevant though because in both countries it was German occupiers committing the atrocities.

You have some gumption to be commenting on anything regarding DeAndre Yedlin's identity, but this particular comment really does take the cake. You really should stop while you're ahead.

Are you seriously questioning his Blackness? Who are you?

I’m gonna take a shot at getting this thread back on track.

and let me bring back some wisdom of the ancients - don’t feed the trolls - they die when we ignore them.

Where did I question his blackness? I'm questioning that his family prefers Europe.
Yes, that's irrelevant. This is Latvia.

No, not just German occupiers, locals as well.
Europe has a long story of racism and antisemitism. No way his grandparents don't know that.

He is half white. They are Jewish. Obviously the other half are black. What was your point?

Would you seriously think that there is less racism in Europe than here?

Europe had terrible racism. Today it is more tolerant than the USA, in my life experience.

    Not banned. :ROFLMAO:

DeAndre is half Black. Did you not know this? You talk about more than just the Jewish side when you mention his family.

But all of this is beside the point of asking why on earth you are going down this inane hole about something you clearly have no idea about.
