Did the video clip show CP's legs, i.e. that he did/didn't have an ice pack strapped to him?

I imagine one of the American soccer reporters will get a prognosis once they do the MRI, etc. Chelsea won't give us anything. Shame Euro leagues aren't forced to do injury reports like the big American sports.

Dunno, and Chelsea level professional mileage might vary, but from my extraordinarily successful tenure as AYSO coach (saying they call me the "Special one of the U5's" would not be a stretch.) the protocol at that time was ice, elevate, rest for potential hamstring tear/pulls.

Of course, you'd think they'd be more congisent of what a pro player would need for CP's specific level of injury, but it does seem odd (and not just in this case) how often you see a guy still in the game or on the sideline when it's pretty clear he's done something.

Nor refrigerators, if you ask my mom. Granted that was in Manchester in the 60's, but she also swore there were no veggies or fruit...

Arsenal fans are upset with Pulisic. They thought it was unsporting of him to continue playing—especially to take a shot—when clearly there was an injured player on the field. And in the words of one Gunners fan, “Pulisic can’t plead ignorance about the injury because that injured player was him.“

Meat, roast potatoes, peas, carrots, gravy and Yorkshire pudding. No room for anything else on the plate.

Last summer I flew from LA to Gatwick, rented a car, drove to the Toby Carvery a couple miles away, drowned the plate and the Yorkie with enough gravy to clog one or two arteries, ate it all, drove back to the airport and made my connecting flight to Riga. I have no idea if it was a good Yorkie or not, because it tasted like gravy to me, which I think is the point of them.

By the way, did anyone else notice how much respect Pulisic got on his goal? Players couldn't step out of his way fast enough. Nobody wants to give up a PK. He's such a terror in the penalty area.

Not as prestigious but I remember this one Byron Leftwich being carried down the field with broken leg to play.

    Thanks... appreciated.

I've mentioned it before on the boards but I'm sure you fellas will already know about Bert Trautmann, the German ex-paratrooper, who 'broke' his neck playing for Man City in the mid 50's...

He was 'cured' by the application of a wet sponge :D

Well that's why I say guy's like Frank Lampard will view it differently to many supporters because, being an ex-player, he will want to protect the lad, both on a personal basis and for the long term interests of the team.

Kind of reminded me of Kobe rupturing his Achilles (3rd degree tear) and then staying in the game to sink two clutch free throws. Fitting because I always thought CP has that Mamba Mentality.

Don't be sad because you don't know how to make it properly.

Like most things, it's possible to make it badly but good yorkshire puddings is fabulous :)

    Something like this...

Sausage and mash with red onion gravy in a giant yorkshire pudding :)

From the article, it sounds like he wants a three-year deal, and Chelsea aren't willing to offer him that, but Arsenal are.
