    @Catracho_Azul

Municipal thinks too high of themselves.

In the PAST they were good, they won 4 Torneos interclubes de Centro América. Even beating Saprissa twice in the final.

But now they're just garbage outside the country. They're irrelevant (our whole league tbh).

Hagen in Costa Rica is waaayy better than being in Guatemala.

Es que no entienden los cerotes. We're not an exporting country so our players have no credibility outside our borders. So right now, we should think long term. Let them leave for free if anyone shows any interest or at least on loan. This way if any of them start performing and we build some credibility as league they can start making money through sales. Honduran players used to go for trials all the time. Y ahora hacen dinero vendiendolos a la MLS

Aunque Hagen's been ass for a while though. Anda jugando peor que los porteros de LDA y Saprissa. And that's saying something cause those 2 are terrible

Can any of you guys give me an update on the status of Chapines currently plying their trade abroad?

I'm assuming Chucho Lopez can now be added to the list huh

Marcelo Saraiva Valencia, formerly of SC Internacional de Porto Alegre, is very close to signing with a European club.

Nothing official yet but every news source says that it will be Nottingham Forest FC of the English Championship.

Hasn’t he already played for USMNT a bunch of times already?

Did you mean his younger brother Alex Roldan?

    It's official now.

Marcelo Saraiva signs with Nottingham Forest FC (U23).

Hopefully he makes it to the senior squad in the near future.

@La Trucha If he can get USMNT call ups consistently then I understand his decision because with Guatemala it's not very likely he would play in a World Cup.

The source is the website "Fútbol Centro América" and in my experience reading their reports about Guatemala they honestly tend to post rumours as facts so I always take their "news" with a pinch of salt.

Matan Peleg's club has been promoted to the Israeli Premier League! The first tier of Israeli football :)

He will be available in the World Cup Qualifying matches against St Vincent and Curaçao. And also in the 2021 Concacaf Gold cup

Oh wow I didn’t know he could still switch over to Guatemala.

Ngl I don’t understand how this was possible, considering he’s played 7 games for USMNT? I assumed he would be locked to USA as a result.

This goal gave me Pescadito Ruíz vibes.
I hope Rubio Rubín wears #20 for Guatemala.
