Perhaps it would be better to add "pk drawn" as a separate stat so it doesn't muddy up the works. But really, aside from peacocking, it doesn't add a lot in either place beyond a bit of bragging rights. It's not like some incredibly influential player is being ignored because no one in the sport-watching world notices his dangerous runs into the area and keep end up with studes to his instep.

Pretty sure that was the goal celebration slide.

    Come one, come all.

    That is a tracked stat.

The reason drawn pks aren’t considered assists is because assists measure actual hard production — a pass which directly results in a goal. Drawn pks are literally in a whole other category.

Maybe we could just track actual FA-logged goals and assists instead? Since, those are actual assists, and whatever transfer market counts are literally not assists.

We don’t need to prop him up. He’s had a great season on limited minutes, we can use the actual numbers this time...

Well at least this was towards the end of the season. Would have been much worse if this was soon after the restart.

Going to miss seeing him in a week. There was little chance they could get 3 over Bayern, yet Bayern will have some rust so who knows.

    That's quite a feat.

He reached double/double in roughly half of the games/minutes played.

He's still continuing to set records in the EPL.

His new-look, beefed-up body backfired on him. It's still not nice to fool with Mother Nature.

I believe these were my exact words just a week ago, "careful what you wish for"

Speedy recovery with plenty o' chocolate kisses to the lad.

I don’t really understand why muscle and flexibility cannot coexist, even if they are sometimes in tension with one another (no pun intended). He might need a new flexibility regimen as his body gets more muscular, but we are not talking bodybuilder levels of muscle mass here. I’m not sure that the kind of strength he is adding implies an increased risk of hamstring pulls, as long as he stretches properly. This was right after the half, his first long sprint. He can afford to talk to the people who really understand this stuff, but I suspect that a good flexibility regimen is all he needs, and then it can be consistent with a little added muscle.

He just may be the guy that needs to be on a stationary cycle during halftime. That attack happened so quickly that he probably wasn’t warmed back up. With maturity he may just hold the ball up. Here’s to a speedy recovery

As someone on BigSoccer i understand I’m far from the foremost expert on S&C but he really should take up some sort of yoga or Pilates regimen.

We're never going to know the extent of this injury just like that mysterious adductor/abductor injury earlier this year.

They're so non-descriptive about injuries over there unless you rupture an achilles or something.

I was just watching Match of the Day, and the panel was obviously impressed with Pulisic's goal and his play today ("He was key for Chelsea in the way they played today...And then he goes off injured. Chelsea just lost that impetus and that quality") but they seemed much more impressed with Pulisic continuing his run and getting off a shot after his hamstrung had already given way.

Ashley Cole : "He's carried on and took the shot so you've got to give him credit for that...."

Gary Lineker: "He's brave to carry on."

Ian Wright: "I've never seen that before. Because look he's screaming now....For him to carry on with the same steps at that pace is unbelievable."

Wasn't really the first thing that stood out to me about the play, but it may be the sort of thing that impresses English audiences.

His secret is to be born with his genetics. I know people will say that the kid works out harder than most, I would agree with that. But some people are born with bulletproof tendons and ligaments and others are not.

so close for a brace, damn shame.

he's had 1 hell of a season. he's been their star since the restart, he and Giroud. I think he should be majorly proud of himself and to rest easy. A hattrick in the PL, scored against Liverpool and City, scored in a Cup final.
