It risks becoming a complete farce.

    Maybe.

I really respect that one of Virginia Tech's best players has opted out of the season. I would not be surprised if more players do the same. Quite a few linemen around the NFL have opted out of the season.

It's tough for college students to play this year - if they get covid and lung damage their pro career is gone.

Interesting that there really should be no home advantage, but Orlando is clearly punching above their weight. Coincidence?

Orlando fans discarded social distancing to celebrate their win over LAFC.

On the other hand, the passion demonstrates how well this format is working.

I work at FedEx. The hub I work at just set up three small tents outside as an area where employees can get tested for free.

How long the process takes is beyond me.

I'd call it victory! I'd be popping champagne in the MLS offices if this happened.

As a neutral would be cool to see Minnesota and New York go through tonight, then we'd be guaranteed a first-time winner of an MLS trophy

I got a couple of cloth masks one Friday a couple of months ago. I usually wear one for a week, then switch; maybe quicker than that depending on when I do laundry.

Most of the people I work with are still getting those surgical-style masks that they hand out every day. I tried those at first and quickly gave up. Those aren't really designed with hard physical labor in mind.

I'll be trying a kn95 mask soon when they arrive from Amazon. I currently use a high quality 3 layer cloth mask, and surgical for things like doctor visits.

And Germany seems to be at the beginning of a second wave too. Ugh. Will they even be able to host the Europa league?

I used his story just today (before they announced they were shutting him down) in response to a baseball fan who said the players have little to fear from getting COVID. The response:
Some people won't be happy until players are dying to play, literally...

Time for MLB to shut this down and play a short season in a bubble somewhere in a month or two.

    Germany?

I'd predict yes, they can host Europa League. CONCACAF Champions League might be bigger issue.

As you know, deaths are a lagging indicator and they're at the beginning as I said.
