Russian health authorities are preparing to start a mass vaccination campaign against coronavirus in October, the health minister has said.

Russian media quoted Mikhail Murashko as saying that doctors and teachers would be the first to receive the vaccine.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but with transgenders I think of people being born in the opposite bodies of their mental gender. So it doesnot describe them at all, as the Thai 3d gender are people born with properties of both genders, apart from what gender they feel they are.

 

If Putin were truly Donnie's friend, he would send those mass vaccinations to the States, right before the election.

What is the “transphobic bullshit”? Saying that a person who menstruates is a woman? Do you realize that that definition of a woman changed in her adult life? I can see how those current with the latest definitions of words can state she is wrong or inaccurate, but how do we get to transphobic?

When Trump fades from the scene next year public discourse will still focus on the expression of personalized, justified, perpetual outrage, instead of coming up with solutions or trying to make the world a better place

I disagree.

Whenever the thread gets "derailed" into topics related to LGBT individuals, people very quickly demand they get moved because they "ruin" the COVID thread. If it is virtually any other off-topic item, camera puns, fish puns, basketball, NCAA sports, etc., then it can go for pages with only minimal complaints. But if it's a topic related to LGBT, then it's virtually immediately complained about.

Too ********ing bad if it ruins your virus thread. Don't keep starting threads where you heterosexual cisgender males talk about us LGBT people. It's morally wrong. You bring it up in these threads, you deal with it in these threads.

Better yet, stop talking about us in the third person. Expose the bigotry and those who spout it.

 

C'mon, guys, let's get back to a topic that we all agree upon and that bring everyone joy: making fun of the Seattle Sounders!

 

No. That's not it. The issue is that this is a very serious topic, and can't be discussed like fish puns scattered about within a popular thread. It was fine for a bit, but now that's all that's nearly all that's being talked about.

EDIT: This is like how the protests and BLM were being discussed in this thread and the racism thread, and needed to have its own thread.
