You can find a stream, usually decent and usually a choice and usually with English-speaking announcers (although I just watched a Fulham game that had no announcers) HERE. It is not necessary to join, but as always, have decent security software active. The game is at 12:30 PM DST in the east.
I hope you are a Brit because you are speaking In English footie cliches. Nobody in N America talks about shifts.
keep your shifts short when protecting a lead late in the third period of a playoff game. discipline boys
So for us hold-outs who have not yet cut the cable cord, paying umpteen million dollars for our Comcast service or whatever, all these pay add-ons like ESPN+, Peacock, CBS extra, FOX plus, NBC gold, etc, etc, ad nauseum, is just crazy. I know in life one must prioritize, but looking at the trajectory of where these companies, who have bought the broadcast rights, are putting these events it seems that they are trying as best they can to squeeze as much profit as possible out of them. CBS's decision regarding Champs League is another big example. Fair play to them, and that's capitalism and the way foward, but I wonder what impact that will have on building a fan base. You can't recruit new fans if they don't see it. Who knows, maybe they have done the research and it's telling them that they have enough of a viewership base to justify putting these events behind pay walls, but I think it's premature.
Don't be a Luddite. Streaming services like ESPN+ are the now and future of niche sports entertainment.
Don't be a Luddite. Streaming services like ESPN+ are the now and future of niche sports entertainment. Right now subs to FuboTV and ESPN+ will cover pretty much everything. UCL, MLS, PL, Bundesliga, La Liga, etc That's a vast improvement over recent years.
The conversation about CP starting or not is more of a conversation of how inept Lampard is. For the above average coach, there’s no way in hell you leave CP out of this one...but Lampard. I’m not one to think he holds a grudge but I could be convinced if he leaves a perfectly healthy CP out of a freakin FA CUP FINAL.
yeah, I pay about $50 for all the “entertainment” Which includes Spotify and Patreon. Just cut the cord. You won’t regret losing access to Big Bang Theory.
I just subscribed for a month to check to this out (and watch the FA final). Pretty painless process. Maybe in a month I subscribe for a year, depending on PQ, scheduling, etc. Hmmm... might even checkout the Fulham/Ream matches.
I am on Sling plus a few sports extra apps like ESPN+ (and now the Peacock sports package to get Premier League next year — also $5/mo.). The feed is a bit less reliable than my old cable package, but only in the sense that WiFi can get spotty at times and so you reboot or reload. But I pay less than half of what I used to (in total) and get everything I want.
What's certain is that Lampard has given today's lineup a lot of thought. He needs to map out 120 minutes plus PKs (as the unrefined among us refer to them). My assumptions: 3-4-3 (or 5-2-3, if you prefer, as I do) Giroud starts (Abraham) Mount starts (Hudson-Odoi) Kovacic starts (Barkley) Kante starts (Jorginho) The back five remain unchanged: Alonso Rudiger Zouma Azpilicueta James, with Cristensen subbing in for any of the central three. The wingbacks, Alonso and James, seem more challenging to replace, so if one of them goes down Chelsea might (have to) switch to four in the back (4-3-3). Caballero in goal, obviously. That leaves Willian v Pulisic and plenty of room for second-guessing. I would start CP, with Willian in reserve, Willian entering to maintain a lead, to manage a draw, and/or for PKs at game's end. I think it's more likely that Willian starts and lasts as long as he can, with CP as a supersub, entering early if the game is not going well. I think an interesting variant would be to start Pulisic Giroud Willian up front, have Mount play box-to-box behind them, using Kovacic as the Kante shield (assuming Kante is still not 100%). Anyway, Mount starts in all variations. Interesting extraneous factors: Willian might be playing against his future teammates. An Arsenal victory gives England a fifth team in next season's Champion's League competition, extra incentive for them, but also (I assume) some substantial financial incentive for others involved
It is hilarious how we can come up with frames to rationalize not starting the offensive player who has been your most productive since the restart. Only by assuming these performances are aberrant (i.e., bias) can one make it work.
