Reading reports that say exactly this. Bummer. Also, can't believe Toronto is already out. Looks like Vancouver's third string GK might actually be good...do we want him? https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2020...ar-old-third-string-goalkeeper-stars-mls-back
Watching the game tonight, where I hate both teams, is a bit strange. Where I came out was this: I don't care who wins as long as the loser is humiliated. Mission accomplished.
Columbus not going through. Yikes. And Portland almost didn't go through either...tournaments for the win!
I couldn’t believe that Cincy player missed the gimme in the 89th minute that would have won it for them. It was Vagenas-esque.....
I know you were just making a joke but just for the record Wondo’s shot wasn’t as easy as most people think. By the time the ball landed the keeper was 2’ away. Wondo could have gone for the low risk, low reward shot, blasting right at keeper. Instead he went for a higher risk, high reward shot - opening his stance to direct a half-volley into the narrow gap between the goalie and the post. Not an easy shot when ball is coming across your body - requires perfect timing or you end up looking silly. And that is what happened. Now Kei Kamara missing a sitter against us — from 6” — that was impressive! https://gfycat.com/pepperyeverycoypu
I remember it was bad enough to be one of the few non-Beckham MLS videos to trend worldwide. DeRosario’s freekick being the other. (If any of you haven’t seen this - wait for the very last camera angle.) Interesting that both of these world class plays (bad & good) came against the Galaxy.
ORL outplaying and outshooting LAFC 14-3 at min 75, including a pk opportunity, but down 0-1. LAFC efficient finishing, especially Rossi to BWP goal. ORL wasteful including Nani weak pk.
