Bad ass! Glad the family stuck to their guns. Hopefully once he is in Europe, they let a real agent take over.

Al parecer Rayados quiere 8 Mdd por el central 🧐¿Que opinan? pic.twitter.com/Y8IYcVbql6— Jovenes Futbolistas MX (@Jovenesfutmx) July 30, 2020 I like both options. Particularly if Wolves gets a spot in European competitions.
Araujo left for 9 million to Celta, Reyes for 8.25 million to Porto so I'm surprised Monterrey is not asking for more. Montes at Wolves would be great because their style of play is similar to Monterrey but with a different level of directness.
Maybe his history of injuries or not having playing with El Tri as much as the other two did when they signed? I dunno.
Thought 9 million was kinda steep in the current situation. I’d be highly surprised if Sevilla matches that. Maybe Wolves bids if they sell players and recuperate money, especially now that they’ve seen the wonders of having access to the Mexican market.
Monterrey got 5 mill for Jesus Corona when he was a U20 NT player and that was after a long negotiation and contract disputes where Monterrey felt they should've gotten way more for him. They also turned away overtures for Hiram Mier after the Olympics because they internally valued him at 9 million dollars. The player's National Team profile will certainly increase their valuation but Monterrey has proven to be a difficult party to negotiate with which is why it'll take quite the offer to let Charly go to Europe, for example.

Wish he’d go to Man U too, but Juventus would be a good move as well. Wonder why Wolves is going after every Portuguese player though.
This transfer window should be interesting. Arteaga and Pizzuto moves abroad. Hopefully we get more players, especially Montes. I believe the Spanish league’s transfer window opens Monday or Tuesday.
I really like the business that Santos is making here. Up to 3.5 in variables and a percentage of a future sale. That's good business. Better than letting him conform and waste his talent, like many other teams prefer to do.
César Montes está emocionado con la posibilidad de jugar en Europa The pessimist in me says that there will need to be a ton of compromise for him to go but the optimist in me hopes he finally makes the jump.
Not getting getting my hopes up for any regio team willing to sell players to Europe. Tecatito had to burn bridges so Monterrey could sell him. They’re gonna try to squeeze every penny they can especially after they got embarrassed by MLS with the Pizarro deal .
