That's the group I'd bring in as well.

No, its me and literally every manager in the world that isn't scouting him. (I'm completely kidding).

We'll see what happens with Robinson. Just to be clear, I'm definitely rooting for him, just not completely convinced at this point in time. He's on an upward trend right now, I totally agree with that, we'll just need to see where he goes with it.

I'd cut out Ream. As someone mentioned in another thread, he's 32, nearly 33 I think, and that's just about the time the speed starts failing. I think Dest, Cannon, Yedlin, Robinson are enough for established guys. Then maybe sprinkle in the kids, maybe Gloster who i think is close. Or whoever is in the best form from the MLS guys (vines, hollingshead). Brandon bye for the revs might deserve a look.

I'm on the fence with Gloster and others. I guess I see Dest, Rob,Cannon and Yedlin as the 4 lead actors. Ream is a senior calming force. Honestly if the 23 needs to look at other positions more, we could just go with 4 on the outside on the roster and play 2. I just want to see Dest in his natural spot.

Yeah I agree with you on Ream. I've always rated him a bit higher than the average BS poster. I still see some potential value in him at LB vs certain opponents. Obviously he's not an attacking fullback, but his presence, defensive positioning and passing ability could be used again certain teams. It sucks he's at the age that he could fall off drastically at any moment. LB seems to be the biggest position in question for the NT - do we go with the aging Ream, play Dest out of position, or go with the up and coming Robinson? It's the old USMNT LB dilemma... we never seem to have the clear answer.

Yeah I'm obviously not sold on any of them yet, but would just rather not have Ream there. I keep going back to "what did experience and calming influences do for us last cycle". Turn it over to the young guys. There is still plenty of professional experience there. I'd be fine with the 4, but assuming one is unavailable, would rather pull in a young guys than someone close to the end.

I don’t know the people as well but this is the philosophy (youth whenever possible) I would favor with the 2026 hosting gig on the horizon. Bradly should be completely out of consideration. Brooks is necessary now; Bradley isn’t.

The €1.5 million figure is a relegation release clause. His market value is much higher than that, but because Wigan was relegated that’s all he can go for. He’s going to have his pick of clubs and will definitely not pick a club that will loan him out.

Ah interesting, I didn’t know that. Thanks for the info. His Transfermarket says he’s worth 3.85 mil, and is valued at the 4th highest LB in the championship, so he would be a steal for the right team. I just hope he is the starting LB wherever he goes, whether it’s the PL, another Championship team or Italy.

Pulisic would feel right at home with scorelines like that.

So where would you like to see him go to in order to play and develop?

Or Chelsea could save the money and bring in Antonee and use the rest to help get a GK and a CB.

Sounds like the 2 English teams most interested in Antonee at this point are West Brom and West Ham

Idk if he’s up for that type of challenge and I doubt Chelsea will take that type of gamble on someone who may more may not be an upgrade to what they currently have. Of their gonna gamble it likely be on Jamal Lewis.

No offense to Antonee he needs to play on a lower level EPL team first to show he can handle it before you would unleash him on a top 6. He doesnt have the pedegree that a Pulisic has. Im not sure anyone we currently have besides Pulisic could play top 6 football maybe Dest. And as much as I love McKinnie, Adams and Gio I dont think they are ready either.

I think either would be excellent for him. Both would come at low risk to them. He does well, they can retain him or sell him for huge profit which is what those lower leve teams do anyway.

for West Ham his main competition would be Ryan Fredericks, a similar player who was decent this year and held down the starting role for most of it. He played well in the Championship previously. Think Antonee is a similar player now, a bit younger, and way more upside. Would be thrilled to have him join the Hammers...their RB situation has been in flux too and they've gone with two youth prospects down the stretch.

Ryan Fredericks is strictly a right back. Antonee is strictly a left back. Cresswell and Masuaku would be his competition but they are supposedly on the outs

Fredericks plays on the right. It’s Cresswell that plays on the left.

West Ham would be a pretty good landing spot imo. If Leicester sold Chilwell and he was brought in as a direct replacement, that would be quite the compliment. Maybe they'd need to do that since they lost out on some cash by missing UCL for next season.

Hard to turn down Milan if they really want him, and it wouldn't be all bad...there would be plenty of Thursday nights in Europe and cup games where Theo would need a breather. Plus he'll eventually be a transfer target to a better club if he continues playing as well as he has.

And obviously, getting skinned by Douglas Costa when he was 20 is not a MNT career killer, especially when we're thrown dudes like Daniel Lovitz out there. Want to see him again soon.
