https://sports.news.naver.com/news.nhn?oid=216&aid=0000107570 KMJ told to stay. News from Skysports. smh... why did he have to go to China..
considering that it seem to be Chicom media vs Korean media, I see not an ounce of truth in either claims but yeah, never should have gone to China
Skysports transfer rumors are definitely not that accurate (depending on who exactly it’s coming from). That said, idk if there’s any reporter who has accurate insider info on Beijing Guoan lol. A transfer to Europe was pretty low probability anyways.
Skysports + BBC are the most trustworthy out there. Pretty obvious they cant get everything 100% right every time.
interesting conversation about KMJ transfer at about the mid point of the clip I posted earlier between the host and another Korean correspondent in London.
Not saying much when the other outlets are 99% made up trash. They’re still getting much more wrong than they are getting right. The only reliable transfer news is from specific insiders/reporters, and these vary from club to club. None of the tier 1 Tottenham sources have ever mentioned KMJ if I remember correctly, so I don’t think negotiations happened (past just an inquiry about availability/price). edit: Didn’t see BBC there, they are I think very reliable for spurs transfers. Sky definitely not.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hi...n-jae-but-spurs-confident-of-signing-him/?amp Not sure how much of this is true, but now Liverpool is shown interest to KMJ. Not sure if he’ll start over Gomez but curious to see how this plans out for Tottenham
It wouldn't surprise me if Liverpool end up getting him while Levy haggle over few million bucks. Spurs lost out on Bruno, and Mane. Probably will lose out on Kim Min-jae. https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/07/20/liverpool-show-interest-in-central-defender-kim-min-jae/
Tottenham dealt transfer blow as Kim Min-Jae apologises to team-mates, set for China stay https://tbrfootball.com/tottenham-d...-apologises-to-team-mates-set-for-china-stay/
according to this guy, and he's fairly objective, it seem to say that things are going "smoothly" and that both sides are beyond preliminaries and are now at the final stages....but then, things can go flat real fast. who knows, maybe KMJ did that just to get into training mode.
Even after the KMJ apology to his teammates (that whole fiasco) and subsequent rumor of him staying at Beijing (which was first reported around Jul 26), there have been several articles that show that it's still a strong possibility of him going to Tott. https://www.football.london/tottenh...ose-mourinho-tottenham-transfer-news-18679204 -He's on Mou's shortlist of desired players. Tott have already sent in two offers which have been rejected, but both teams are apparently optimistic that a deal will be done. https://www.football365.com/news/spurs-two-bids-rejected-kim-min-jae-beijing-guoan (This was Jul 21) On the flip side, he did start for Beijing yesterday, so it's hard to say if he will def be sold to Tott.
You said something similar to "serves him right" or "it's probably not going to happen" a thousand times already. Got anything original to say?
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hi...uld-now-miss-out-on-kim-min-jae-to-lazio/?amp Maybe this will pressure Tottenham to hurry up and sign him. But I wouldn’t mind a move to Lazio. Needs a defender and is a good team in Serie A. Easier to wet his feet in European quality football by playing at Serie A first before EPL.
