He is saying he is interested in Roma, the rumors of a bid being accepted are not true.

Basically his interest is the early stages (if it’s not just a publicity stunt) and the media blew it way out of proportion.

Hopefully another big brand picks us up. I enjoyed the bounty of random crap I could buy that was Roma themed.

And the smaller brands seem to hate making their product accessible.

 

We had some nice training gear from Nike over the years...it was nice while it lasted.

 

There's some truth to that. I bought my brother in law a Nainggolan Cagliari uni for Christmas. I ended up having to buy directly on the team's webpage. I will say it went well and they got it to me quickly but it wasn't as easy as I'm accustomed to. So you have a point with that.

 

Actually, I just hate Nike. Kits are okay but not great. Disappointed overall with the Nike deal

To date, the only available option for Roma and Pallotta remains Dan Friedkin.

I think within the next weeks we see the new offer.

There are only five months left in the year, Friedkin holds the winning hand, at the moment.

I would have to imagine that Friedkin is fully aware of the stadium nightmare and any offer would be contingent on actually putting a shovel in the ground.
