Hope is the first step towards disappointment. This is why all of us in MLS N&A forum are a disappointed bunch
NBA relase: "Of the 322 players tested for COVID-19 since arriving on the NBA Campus July 7, two have returned confirmed positive tests while in quarantine. Those players never cleared quarantine and have since left the Campus to isolate at home or in isolation housing."— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) July 13, 2020
NHL announces 43 positive tests as league moves towards August 1 restart I believe this is the most for any American league planning a restart.
Yes, this is the primary problem. For better or for worse, a lot of Americans don’t like being tracked like this. Particularly not by government mandate. This is probably the time for it to happen. They will likely all be cleared by the time August 1 rolls around. The question is how they control the players with confirmed positive tests.
More advanced testing point I'd say. They are testing positive on their way to the bubble while the NHL just started training camps.
Unconfirmed has been confirmed as negative. D.C. United player who received an initial unconfirmed positive coronavirus test result has completed two subsequent tests --both negative. He has been medically cleared to rejoin the club for all activities. #dcu #mls— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) July 13, 2020
It should have been held in Colorado some said........... https://www.msn.com/en-us/health/me...n-colorado/ar-BB16ImWf?li=BBnb7Kz&ocid=PerDHP
Yeah. That's not exactly unusual around here. Its a little closer to the metro area than usual, but see the Rapids plague game last year.
I don’t get why regular season games have to wait until the tournament ends. You have FCD and Nashville who would probably be 100% healthy in a week who could at least play one game against each other. This way they’re not at a disadvantage having to cram 3 additional regular season games and having rust that their opponents won’t have as much as after the tournament ends.
Yes, FC Dallas and Nashville should probably play a home and home series before the season restarts... but the season won't restart, so who cares?

MLS says it tested 1,227 individuals staying at league hotel for covid-19 July 12-13. No newly confirmed positive cases. Tests on delegations from Dallas and Nashville, which were withdrawn from tournament last week, revealed one new positive case (an unnamed player).— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) July 15, 2020
