dang, wishing him a speedy recovery. there was a pro player in france who had it a few weeks ago and really went to the brink it sounds like. covid seems to present really severely in pretty much every group at varying rates.
Most people with this thing are asymptomatic, which means that they can infect others while not getting sick at all themselves. And most people in his age group who do get ill bounce back pretty quickly. Unless he gets ill enough to be taken to hospital, it's nothing for him. I'd only be worried if he is taken to hospital - even if only for observations. This thing tends to scar the lungs. If that happens, his career could be on the line
didn't watch but from a quick look at the webs TB came out at 66, with Antalya up 2-0. Besiktas got one back after he was out. Without reading a lick of Turkish, it appears his contributions were not appreciated by the faithful...
Maybe it wasn't due to the concussion that he struggled. What goes up, must come down. I must admit, I was kind of enthused by him. Didn't know if he'd be US starter, but figured a contributor. Don't think he has business making rosters as it stands. Not that would mean it was a mistake to choose the US. If he's better he'll get chances. Already been treated more than fairly.
He'd have made the All Whites 23 though, but they were unlikely to qualify until 2026. By then he'll be 32.

Relegation-bound Konyaspor went down to 10 men at the 10' mark and the hosts destroyed them scoring until Tyler came in.
I watched the game for some reason. Besiktas is a fun watch. Atiba Hutchinson and I’ve always like the Egyptian Elneny. Jermain Lens, Kevin-Prince Boateng Boyd started wide left when he came in and then moved middle-right. The game had petered out at that point, Konyaspor was just sitting parked in the back in damage control with ten men and there was no space to work with for anybody. Boyd picked up a yellow card and played the ball around in possession. Tried making a run or two that wasn’t rewarded. Just a thought, but he scored 6 in 14 for Ankaragücü, and they were good goals, running into space at speed. Counterattacking seemed to suit him better than camping an opponents half. He’s aggressive and direct, maybe a good fit for the Championship.
