like Lenin said, "There are decades where nothing happens, and there are weeks where decades happen."
Leipzig drew Atletico Madrid for the Champions League quarterfinals next month. Hopefully rust doesn't set in for them between now and next month. One downside to being the first to restart and end their season.
Are they going to have spectators? I assume not, but games are a lot more fun to watch with a crowd. Though, it's fun to hear all the instructions/call-outs by the coaches and players.

Leipzig have a (relatively speaking) easy path to the CL finals. The mega clubs are on the other side of the bracket
On the other hand, RBL had one of the easiest groups and managed to beat a Tottenham that is a mess (they may not even make the Europa) so it's not like they're playing at a high level.
Also they were just 4-4-1 in the league since the return. Atletico may look a favorable draw, but they are not a good match-up for Leipzig.
Wednesday Tyler went the first 45 minutes in a friendly against Wolfsburg. Looks like he is still healthy! So, that's a plus. Correction: it was today
I actually disagree. They dont get forward enough for me and spend so much time behind the ball or playing possessional football.. To me, Adams would fit better at a Liverpool, Madrid Bayern, Dortmund or City or Chelsea.. Those the big teams of course but those teams like to get forward in a hurry and I think Adams would excel in that style. Im not sure we would get to see all of his attributes while sitting back as much as Atleti does.
adams started the first 45 yesterday in a closed door friendly vs wolfsburg. whole line up was changed to start the second half.
Well... he was getting about 50% of the starts when he returned to health and was essentially the 1st sub in in all the other games... so a coin flip to start and will likely get significant minutes regardless. Perhaps a slightly better than 50% chance since Werner is gone and they may shuffle some guys getting a different winger in his absence. <fingers-crossed> EDIT - Oh yeah... Since I am a USMNT homer there is no doubt at all who I want to win it all... RBL. More minutes for Adams in huge games is a big plus.
It is kind of crazy, we have a highly rated player about to start or come off the bench in a CL quarter-final one off game and no discussions or conversations for 12 days... CP won't play for months and I had to catch up on like 3 pages of the last couple of days...
The lack of televised friendlies for Leipzig has a lot to do about that, me thinks. Just not much to discuss with him. Hope he gets the start and does well is Lisbon. Bom dia.
Without Werner I assume Sabitzer will play in a more advanced role on the wing, perhaps freeing up a spot in midfield. So it will be Kampl and either Tyler or laimer
Ain't it ridiculous? Thanks for calling it out. Here's hoping for a win. It should be an excellent match. Just wish Werner would have been out there for RBL.
In general it seems Adams gets least attention of the top BL/EPL crew. The injuries affected that, for sure, but I do hope we get to see a bit of him.
I don't even attempt to read that thread - pure unadulterated homerism. Go RBL! They've got a tough match today, and the layoff won't help.
This was my thought too. They could still play Kampl and Forsberg at dual-6 so it isn't a sure start... but those guys generally play the more offensive of the dual 6 roles... a sort of hybrid 6/8.
