We just have to beat the Honduras of Acosta and Elis, not the Netherlands of de Jong and Snejder. Fortunately.

  3. Dest should watch Gio's matches to learn how to perform while not being the greatest defender, although his Barcelona team mates even now call him the best defender they played with.
Oh and Dest should also take a look at Gio's long range missiles and add that to his arsenal.

The things they called him at Rangers, until he went to Barca and then all of Glasgow adored him...

    Great player.

Dest does have a decent enough long-range shot tbh, example is against France in the U20 World Cup. Obviously nothing like Gio's goal against Uruguay, still one of the best goals I've ever seen.

F*** o**! We are at 33.5 average years of age! ;)

Dest would be an interesting situation. As long as he isn't supposed to be our starter day 1, I think it would be a great move. We already have a defensive liability at RB in Cuadrado, Danilo, and De Sciglio, at least Dest adds forward ability that only Cuadrado can bring. Even better, Dest does what almost every RB at Juve needs, to be able to play on the left...

After a night to sleep on it, I think Dest to Juve would be a great fit. He would be able to rotate with Cuadrado on the right and not be expected to be a starter day 1, so he can learn the language and the nuances of how we defend and how the game is played in Italy. Similar to how De Ligt was supposed to acclimate which was sped up with the unfortunate ACL tear to Chiellini after the second game of the season.

We normally have most of the ball, and Sarri has given the RB a lot of license to push high up the pitch and join the attack.

I imagine he is more of a "Messi guy," but being able to play with Ronaldo wouldn't be a bad thing.

I guess what I am saying is, as a US and Juve fan, sign me up! Unfortunately, it seems as though there isn't more reports than the 1 posted.

Does this mean Bogarde is no longer under contract at Chelsea?

I agree. Dest in a Sarri system is almost the perfect fit.

He is probably a great coach to have around young players since he can tell them all of the potential pitfalls that can happen in a career.

I believe Claudio Reyna’s kid is named after him.

  18. According to wiki he was:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_Reyna
    Personal life
Giovanni is the son of former Rangers F.C., Sunderland, Manchester City, New York Red Bulls, and United States player Claudio Reyna,[9] and Danielle Egan, a former member of the United States women's national soccer team.[10] Reyna was born in Sunderland, England while his father was playing for Sunderland. Reyna started his international career by playing with the United States' youth teams, but after impressing with Borussia Dortmund, he attracted interest from the Portuguese, English, and Argentine national teams, all of whom he is eligible to play for. Ultimately, all speculation was put to rest on March 5, 2020, as Sports Illustrated[11] quoted him as saying "I'm aware of the rumors, but it's quite clear for me. I only want to play for the United States. That's my home country."

He was named after his father's former Rangers teammate Giovanni van Bronckhorst.[9]
