Jahn finally gets a header and Jensen makes sensational save. This game lacked polish, but it was decently entertaining
Jensen with a huge save to preserve the win for the Red Bulls. Atlanta blanked for the first time in over a year.
Well, it's official. 2020 sucks moldy a**. RB earned it. Atlanta... if I had a dollar for every time they dribbled into traffic I'd be buying drinks.
My wife loves Triscuts, as do I, but she figured out a few years ago that unfortunately wheat really inflames her psoriasis and she has to limit her intake of it, which means we haven't had any in the house since then. We'll have some when visiting family (her, very few) at the holidays and such but that's it.
No Santos, Adi or Valenzuela in #Crew96 starting 11 or on the bench. Caleb Porter said this week that a few players had knocks. The player that tested positive for COVID-19 was available for tonight, so immediate assumptions are silly.— Patrick Murphy (@_Pat_Murphy) July 12, 2020 So, there's that.
Difference between ESPN and Fox Sports? Taylor and Jon don't wear headsets in the studio when calling the game. Meanwhile, Jon and Stuart do? Of course, they're also communicating with Alexi and Rob, so maybe that's a reason because ESPN is only using 2 guys instead of 4, but it just looks strange.
Can anyone explain the betting line numbers associated with tonight's second game? On the MLS site, it says Cincinnati +325, Columbus -118. What does this mean? I can only figure out betting lines for football, baseball, and basketball games. Thanks in advance!
I think it goes like this: The + is for the underdog. A $100 bet wins you $325. The - is for the favorite. You have to bet $118 to win $100.
Bet on Cincinnati to win and they do, and your $100 bet pays out $325 in winnings (so you get $425 back in total). Bet on Columbus to win and they do, and your $100 bet pays out $84.75 in winnings (so you get $184.75 back in total) But this: is the easier way to think about favorites.
The decimal system they use in Europe is so much easier to understand. It's just what you get from a successful $1 bet, including your original dollar. So +325 is 4.25. (Bet a dollar, win and they'll give you 4.25. This -118 would be something like 1.82. Bet a dollar, win, and they give you 1.82. I've never seen soccer odds listed anywhere without the prices for a draw listed.
So then tomorrow's Colorado (+200) - Salt Lake (+130) game is saying a draw is the expected result, but Salt Lake is thought to be more likely to win than Colorado?
Thanks guys! Now all I gotta do is find a hundred bucks in my couch cusions so I can lay some bets in the future!
Who knew Billy Idols “Rebel Yell” was talking about MLS soccer when he was singing about wanting more more more.
I don't like the American style. I use decimal when I'm on draftkings since it makes more sense. The decimal is 4.6 for FCC, 1.73 for Columbus, and 3.65 for the tie. To do those you just take you bet and multiple it by the decimal and you get your total back. Bet 1 dollar on FCC and win? You get $4.60 back (so you win $3.60). Since I just like to place small bets for the fun of it, it makes more sense to me.
