    It also will decrease the number of Aussies playing in the NWSL. This gives a big clue, I suspect, as to why the Thorns were willing to transfer Ellie Carpenter to OL when they had her under contract for the coming year. If she wanted to play in the W-League, it just would not have worked for to play both there and in the NWSL.

    Jessica Davis is 33 years old and has played in the USA, Australia, Sweden and in Ireland. During her football career, she has taken a break of six years to complete her education. Her ambitions are high and she is looking forward to getting started again after a long break in the US due to the Covid-19 situation.
