He's criticized MLS in interviews, over blocking his move to Everton for one, and also has been quite vocal against Bruce, who's a MLS darling. He's also the one mouthing off about the 'divide' between MLS players and the ones in Europe. I think he may have done just enough to close that door for good.

FWIW, I just listened to the most recent Sam's Army podcast with Geoff and Bobby Boswell, and it's absolutely hilarious. It's also worthwhile for those who have an opinion on Geoff and what he's about to hear how he comes across when given a free-for-all forum. Highly recommended: https://podcasts.google.com/?feed=a...wiCx-qyq8jpAhU_nnIEHetfA54Q4aUDegQIARAC&hl=en
Very self deprecating guy, broke his 'People's Sexiest Men' face in Turkey. Very open and honest too -- says he didn't really give a crap about his "career" while playing, despite playing well and becoming an international. Still partied and drank a bunch. A good glimpse into the bad old days too...I think he said his first salary was $12,500. He has some very definite regrets but seems very level headed and good natured about it all, especially with Geoff still playing and making bank in England (don't think Bobby made a ton while playing)
Geoff's contract expires June 30. QPR restart play June 20. https://us.soccerway.com/teams/england/queens-park-rangers-fc/702/
Cameron did not make today's squad due to suspension, because he earned a red card in QPR's previous match on March 7.

And once again Tim Ream is the only Yank in the Ch'ship playing in a Top 6 club, my somewhat arbitrary cutoff point for "Championship teams better than the best of MLS."
Lack of tact when it comes to subjects that get you fired if you lack tact. I don’t know how to elaborate without violating the ant-politics rules here.
My thought was "he'd shove his foot so far into his mouth that it would come out of his ass," but your post is probably more tactful.
Try not making political comments in the first place. But it’s Funny though how you agree that simply lacking tact Is enough to get someone fired these days. Shows how insane our collective society has become.
You are projecting. I was careful not to express a view about politics in this exchange. I was responding to a request for reasons behind my belief that Cameron wouldn’t last as an announcer. And for the record, I referred not to his mere lack of tact, but rather to lack of tact about subjects that can get you fired.
FWIW he keeps getting ranked middle of the pack by the Loft fans after each game, which is sort of accurate.
