Thanks. At least the Earthquakes get to start off playing their most difficult opponent in their group, getting it out of the way early. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
I've always debated with myself about do I want the toughest first or play the easiest to build up (hopefully) confidence. Get a win against the toughest and you could set yourself on the way to winning the group, while losing to the easiest could kill your chance.
In a tournament format, you want the best first before they have time to gel and/or feel like that have their back against a wall (see Brazil and Germany in pretty much every World Cup).
Especially if the opponent is thinking they have the easier game to start. Of course, getting them last if they've already clinched is nice as well.
Even my daughter is getting excited. Yesterday she asked me: "When do the Quakes play" after hearing about the tournament on the news (TT interview).
Hmmm. have been unable to get the checkout to work with Chrome, Edge, or Opera browsers. What did you use.
The last time we beat the Sounders was 2015, but it's not uncommon for us to get a point from them. I'm predicting a draw.

This match, and single game on a neutral ground, will determine the Heritage for 2020. You can see the Heritage Cup rules on SSVCF's page. Keep you fingers crossed that these two teams keep testing negative.
